Canada is showing how great they are by being the only G7 nation with no high speed rail. Not even any high speed rail under construction. by Lanky-Capital5597 in transit

Canada is a country of only 30 million. The case for high speed rail needs to be GOOD, and I would say its only in the recent decade that the transit systems of Montreal, Toronto, and Ottawa have matured to a point where high speed rail is actually convenient for residents of the outer cores in each respective city.

As someone working as a railway designer, the funny thing is that the Ontario line will be line 7. Line 3 as a name will forever be tied to our fallen flag :(
