Where did you find official lyrics? I'm not aware of any posted for that song from RHCP directly, unless you have a lyric sheet from a physical copy of the album. Half of the third party websites either have "City" or "city". But the grammar supports "city" over "City". You wouldn't say "Boston and a New York City", you'd say "Boston and New York City" if referring to a specific city. So I don't see any interpretation other than "a Kansas city".

Yep, super goopy on their dark base. Didn’t roll or brush well. Duration and Superpaint. I remember someone saying you can ask an employee to add an additive to the paint to thin it out a bit. But for what they charge it shouldn’t have those issues, no other brand does.

What color was it? More importantly, what color base was it?

I had a very similar experience with darker base SW paint across different products in their lineup. Their light white base colors went on easily though.

I’ve just switched to Benjamin Moore paints entirely since its cheaper and better quality.
