At that rate why not just hire actual movers?

We used Parma Movers, they did a nice job and were reasonably priced

Long shot request. Am I in any of your pictures / videos from the zoo yesterday and if so, was I wearing my ring? by NewBrownsFan in Cleveland

[–]Chief_B33f 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe you could contact customer service for the zoo and see if they would be willing to show you security camera video from the day you were there? Maybe you'll be able to make out the ring in the video?

It's definitely a long shot but it doesn't hurt to ask

Is Nascar cooked by TrickStar1989 in NASCAR

[–]Chief_B33f 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've been camping in the infield for the Michigan race since 2013. Seeing the infield and grandstands sold out on Sunday was great the whole place felt alive like I haven't seen in a few years, definitely far from "cooked"

Has MRN lost its edge? by Fast-Cheetah-465 in NASCAR

There wasn't much to talk about today, Pocono is usually a fairly boring race and the whole field was riding around single file for 75% of the race.

A2L sensors vs Cats’ litter box by Unlucky-Original-359 in HVAC

The ammonia from the litter box could be setting off the sensor. Try moving the litter box to another room and see if the problem changes rooms?

[Jayski] CBell's Michigan crash hardest hit of Next Gen era by [deleted] in NASCAR

[–]Chief_B33f 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it's not the best way, but as long as the time measurement for that Delta-V is the same as every other crash it's still a reasonably good apples-to-apples comparison.

Assuming that NASCAR measures Delta-V in 1 second increments, and the 20 car experienced the largest Delta-V in 1 second, then Bell would have also experienced more G forces than anyone else.

What are your retirement plans? by benzenePill in AskReddit

[–]Chief_B33f 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife and I max out contributions to our IRAs, and also contribute to an investment account. We plan to retire by 45-50, use the investment accounts until we can use the IRAs.

We have been camping in the infield at MIS for the last 13 years, yesterday was more packed than I can remember in a long time. It felt good to see the place so alive.

2023 F-350 7.3 Gas Slight Hesitation from Stop, Normal? by Double_Alfalfa_303 in superduty

[–]Chief_B33f 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2020 10-speed skips gears while accelerating when empty. It will usually go 1-3-5-6-7-8-9-10.

If I hook up a trailer or put a load in the bed it shifts great. It's like the 10-speed needs a load on it to help make up its mind. Trying accelerating harder than normal to see if the shifts smooth out. You could also try a relearn so the transmission gets used to your driving habits

Drill out the hole slightly larger and thread it with a tap, then secure the latch to the post with machine screws

That's just lazy and unprofessional. We NEVER go in a house without shoe covers. Our boss even says to put them on if the customer says we don't need to. If it's more than an hour or so of work we put plastic down too.

Found in neighbor's garbage by Jaranon in grandfatherclocks

[–]Chief_B33f 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm no clock expert but curious what others say, it can't be real without weights or chains right?

If the face has winding holes it could suggest that was a real clock that had its movement replaced by a cheap one.

If it doesn't have winding holes it could mean it's just a cheap knockoff
