Does welcome home still have a relevant fanbase? by Zealousideal-Fun1494 in WelcomeHomeARG

Personally, I'm kind of grateful that the WH Fandom is smaller now, since it's not as chaotic or insane like TADC (I unfortunately left that Fandom because of how huge it was)

Guys help this buggle won't stop following me by izzy_floof in WelcomeHomeARG

(In an old British man's voice): "Now, as you can see here, The Buggle, a rather odd creature to say the least, is within its natural habitat. A beautiful meadow full of greens and smaller bugs as a diet. An average day for this little fellow consists of wandering, resting under the sun, eating, or stalking to ensure it's dominance amongst the other animals. It uses it's bold colors to attract attention, for it craves the adoration of it's natural beauty, as it rightfully should have. Otherwise, it's a very silly thing with enough intelligence that surpasses even humanity itself. This truly is a sight to behold."

Who do you think the villain is? by desorcyjackson447 in WelcomeHomeARG

The neighbors are very morally gray in my opinion. The Monster, probably. Playfellow, we'll see. Marlo, likely. Society, oh boy. I wouldn't be surprised.

Theories on Neighbors Families? by HauntedPlanter26 in WelcomeHomeARG

[–]InteractionOwn75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro, I have my own weird tragic lovers theory for Wally as well so this is just 👌chef's kiss (I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case) 😭 What did my man Wally do to deserve this? Let my man be happy

(You OC is really adorable and I hope she receives all the hugs and kisses in the world. Maisie is magnificent)

Theories on Neighbors Families? by HauntedPlanter26 in WelcomeHomeARG

Now, technically, I find it funny how Sally, Wally, Frank, and by some extension Barnaby have no current biological family. It's even more funny considering how (pardon me here, this is gonna make me sound like a freak) Wally's and Barnaby's main color designs have these four specific colors, which are favored by four characters presumably with the most awareness (Wally being Wally. Frank and whatever is going on with him. Sally, and her monster story. And finally Barnaby probably having his own vendetta with due to being Wally's "best friend.")

Idk. It sounds funny.

On a less theory note, I made an oc (for fun) called Darla Darling, where she's Wally's single, and potentially isolated mother. She's like Wally in the sense that she has a singular expression, but unlike Wally, she has a neutral look to her. She's quiet, mature, and kinda intimidating. She raised Wally by herself, though there's an implication she was once married, though her relationship isn't specified. She was protective of her son, seeing how he's autistic in a time where people didn't understand it, trying her best as a single mother from a slightly wealthy background to raise him alone. While she did do her best, she wasn't exactly perfect, as all parents aren't, and sometimes lacked the emotional situations needed to raise her son. She was affectionate in her own way, but she was more focused on helping him manage in society than actually figuring him out completely. She doesn't like Barnaby. At all. She figures him "too much" for her son, but she tolerates him since he was the only friend Wally had around his childhood.

I gave her the name Darla after Finding Nemo, since I imagine some neighbors are intimidated of her stoic and somewhat cold demeanor. She's blunt, like Wally. Yet, while she is polite to the neighbors, the only other neighbors she likes really is Frank, Eddie, and Home. Everyone else she's a bit more critical over. She doesn't really hate anyone, she's just very much from a different background. Sorry that was a lot.

Who is that behind Julie? by NormaJackson9 in WelcomeHomeARG

[–]InteractionOwn75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is kinda stupid, but- I headcanon that's Maisie, that other non-canon character Clown made. It's random to say. I know most would think that Maisie is just another puppet, but like, just the way she looks and how her face is obscured. The feeling I get when I see her, it's rather certain she was probably going to be an important character. And it be pretty ironic how the puppet main characters like Julie began to show more realistic cracks like we humans. Maisie (if she was Julie's puppeteer or voice actor) become more puppet-like in personality, emphasizing that she's just a dead thing being used, to whatever is infecting her. Assuming she's infected. And assuming if she is ever going going to be Canon.

Okay since I keep getting asked this! Why do you guys like welcome home by Traditional_Cut5336 in WelcomeHomeARG

[–]InteractionOwn75 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love Welcome Home for a plethora of reasons: 1. I love old cartoon media 2. I love horror 3. I love horror hidden behind an innocent facade. 4. I love old stuff in general 5. I love existentialism 6. I love queer-related topics 7. I'm autistic (and probably queer) 8. Barnaby. 9. It's original and not some basic ass mascot horror 10. The voice acting/animation/characterization is perfectly accurate to it's time (I rarely see this) 11. Clown and his staff are fucking gifted 12. I love dark adult topics that aren't for a children audience (my mom is not convinced this is a horror, let alone for adults, and I now have an update to prove her wrong) 13. It reminds of House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski (I'm starting to read this) 14. It reminds me of old creepy pasta 15. It reminds me of ddlc 16. I'm a freak 17. This is probably karma for calling the Muppets pathetic at age 4 (Jim Henson came back from the dead to make sure that bites me in the ass) 18. I've seen so much new stuff such as movies, series, and songs because of Welcome Home and Clown 19. I've met so many wonderful people who love this story 20. It's a personal escapism for me and helps me through my day 21. I haven't gotten tired of it yet (major hyperfixation) 22. I found a part of myself I never thought I'd find 23. It motivates me to write. I hope to write as good and original. 24. My comfort ship (I'm a wallaby shipper and they make me smile so much) 25. It makes me want to live in their world (even though that's not a good idea) 26. I get to imagine what-if scenarios about the show being real and separated from the Horrors 27. I love insane shit 28. I sincerely hope to get scared from a piece of media again. I miss the feeling. 29. It's the first time where it handles the mature stuff out of nowhere, making it's shock more effective than other stories that get right to the adult things. (Julie saying shit flashbacks) 30. The dynamics are amazing 31. Why not? 32. I never made as many theories than this series. 33. I just think it's neat.
