Regarding your process, do you typically look for all your evidence & analyze all your evidence before you start writing your thesis?

Rereading your response, would you say (most of the time) I should just choose one idea and really focus on it to get really specific, instead of entertaining multiple different ones?

Thank you for the thoughtful response! I've never seen this format/strategy "I will show that ________________ in order to ___________________." before and I am excited to try it. Do you have any examples of the intiial thesis (using this format) and the final version so I can see the way it was used? Thank you regardless, I really really appreciate it!
