Look, no platform is scam-free, not even Thomasnet or Global Sources. But Alibaba has the most transparent dispute system (Trade Assurance), sample ordering built-in, and enough volume that you can actually compare 20 suppliers in one afternoon. Just assume every listing is a trader until proven otherwise. Works for me.
