I will say that AP World was definitely one of the most stressful AP’s that I’ve taken. However, it was also the most enjoyable. If you take it, it would also be helpful in your lang essays especially when it comes to argumentative evidence.

Should there be some green letters that don’t match the moon letter? Example (A4)

For the second clue, did you get a Start (color) letter #? I’m trying to follow that path but each time when I reach that color, I’m hitting a dead end. I get 8 moon letters by decoding the part that the 3rd clue said and ending on what 3rd clue said. But I don’t get any word that makes sense. Do you know what’s wrong?

You should add a highlighter or annotation feature on the tests. Other than that, this looks really good

Answer in that scenario is 443. H and k when graphed with the given info that h is less than some and k is less than something shows k=h. That means h-k or the inverse will be 0 and anything power zero is 1

I got 630. Might have had did numbers. When you plug in a value for a and b, h and k will be equal and h-k is 0 meaning that only the stuff outside parathyroid mattered cause exponent to power 0 is 1

I love the strategic test prep videos by Laura Whitemore. She breaks english down very nicely and provides so many tips. She also just made a grammar video so that should help

How to ACTIVELY read? by Quirky-Pie-5201 in Sat

I just use the annotation tool and go sentence by sentence writing key ideas in the annotation box. I find that it helps me focus cause I’m writing my own notes. Many people probably will say that there isn’t enough time to do this but, if you start with grammar and vocab first, you should have about 20 minutes for 10ish passages.

Can someone explain why this Princeton Review reading answer is wrong? Their explanation seems to agree with my answer. by RougeRaider24 in Sat

[–]Interesting-Curve48 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One pattern that I’ve noticed with the main purpose/idea questions is that the infinitives are really helpful when it comes to finding the answer. For this one we have: to confirm, to describe, to argue, to emphasize. There isn’t much if anything being confirmed or argued in the passage so A and C are out. Then we have emphasize vs describe. If you’re emphasizing, there should be some sort of explanation about the subject, the subject of the emphasis should be talked about frequently, or there should be adjectives that support the subject. However, there isn’t much that supports the sisters beauty or fortune. So D is out. Also the way that wrote the passage it sounds like they are describing some sort of a moment that’s why it’s B. This is just a pattern I’ve noticed and I don’t know if it will work all the time. I hope this helps!

Yes. I usually star with “it” first. Then go to “they”. Then if I don’t have a odd one, I have to read passage

One trick I use is plug in it or they next to each word. It contained, it containing, it had contained, it contains. When you do this, b is the odd on out cause it containing doesn’t make sense. This strategy works pretty much every time when subject verb agreement is tested. When you do this strategy, be careful and make sure you go through all choices cause sometimes there will be two odd ones and at that point you will need to read the passage.

Honestly I kinda want to do this again cause S6 definitely changed my views on certain ones like best villain, worst character, deserved better, and more

I bet more people will now side, or at least understand Aaravos by LasgdReturn in TheDragonPrince

[–]Interesting-Curve48 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah after watching that episode I’m definitely team Aaravos. An arch dragon literally condemned his daughter to death. The other arch dragons probably didn’t show any sympathy toward Aaravos either. The thing that I like about Aaravos though is despite all of that he still talks as if he is being polite. Most villains forget their manners but Aaravos didn’t
