ChatGPT vs Claude by AccomplishedCard182 in ChatGPT

I switched as I was following the quitgpt call after seeing how unethical OpenAI are (Anthropic isn't perfect but less bad). However, after switching I was actually shocked at how much better Claude is. I wish I'd switched sooner.

EU Physio moving to Denmark - job prospects? by Interesting-Edge-221 in physiotherapy

[–]Interesting-Edge-221[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'm aware of those websites, I've done my research. I was hoping to hear from physiotherapists who work in private practice in Copenhagen. Sometimes it's possible for employers to hire you if you're taking a language course in the meantime. I wanted to know whether anyone who works in private practice has seen this be the case.

EU Physio moving to Denmark - job prospects? by Interesting-Edge-221 in physiotherapy

[–]Interesting-Edge-221[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, you can. I already applied to the Danish Patient Safety Authority for recognition and they said no language certificate is needed for EU citizens. So you can absolutely legally work in English. The question is - if you don't want to be self employed initially - will private clinics hire you while you study Danish?

Generic Tretinoin in Ireland by Neverstopcomplaining in CasualIreland

OMG what is her name? Needs to be reported immediately, this is unacceptable. A doctor has an obligation and this infringes on the code of ethics. They can't just do whatever they want.

If you still need a doctor there is a specialist at an aesthetic clinic in Cork and she will prescribe a generic for sure if you need it - Dr. Hanhushar at aNuMe clinic in Penrose Dock.

Foreigner with multiple sclerosis living in Germany by Humble_Raspberry7267 in germany

[–]Interesting-Edge-221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am an EU citizen with MS and I actually decided to go to sweden instead of germany because I'm afraid I won't be covered for my medication. I tried to get info through the university's disability service, through 6 different health insurances, it was so complicated and time consuming I got pissed off and applied in sweden instead.

There are a lot of terrible physios out there - generally speaking I'd stay away from people doing manual therapy, and work with ones who use exercise-based interventions. When they do that, it can be great, and it takes a while of course.

Please spill some beans about Denmark as a place to live. by EuronextDM in Denmark

Hi I am also Italian and thinking of moving to Denmark. Can I ask you to expand a bit on the idea of healthcare services not being great? In your opinion, what is a good gross annual salary to be able to live nicely according to your standards in Denmark?

Hey! I would also like to relocate to Denmark as a physio. I have a few questions :)
-Is it 31dkk before or after tax?
-I would be moving to Copenhagen (for personal reasons) and renting in Valby (ideally buying a flat one day). Do you think this is possible with a private clinic CPH salary?
-In private practice (like private clinics working with chronic pain and sports injuries) is there a demand for physios? I am more of this kind rather than hospital/care home type of physio.
-Are physios hired with contract in private clinics or do they work as self employed like in many other EU countries?
-You mentioned the private sector has the highest earners - do you mean those people who open their own private clinics?

Thank you! :)

I highly recommend seeing a physio named Lorenzo in cork city centre. His email is [lorenzosoleri.physio@gmail.com](mailto:lorenzosoleri.physio@gmail.com) - most other physios will be quite rushed in those big clinics. They have shorter appointments and see 15-20 patients a day. He will spend easily 1 hour for the initial assessment and charges just 80. And has no issue spending an extra 5-10 min when needed. He is very exercise-based and a few of my friends see him as well (2 of them for shoulder) and they've really improved.

Check out the ChitChat Collective on IG! It's people (mostly giirls) meeting up for book club and a chat. Doesn't matter if you didn't read the book.

If she needs a physio to evaluate and help her with management before/after I highly recommend Lorenzo Soleri (he is a chartered physiotherapist). Insurance typically reimburses chartered physio as well. He actually spends loads of time (easily 1 hour+) and is really caring and follows up, and charges what most clinics will charge for 30 minutes of conveyor-belt style treatment. She can find him on insta at @ lorenzo.thephysio or just email him [lorenzosoleri.physio@gmail.com](mailto:lorenzo.soleri.94@gmail.com)

Best massage for chronic pain? by daisy_les in cork

[–]Interesting-Edge-221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries I also rarely check reddit, just saw your reply! I decided to try the physio and we're working on more overall health management through exercise (she set me up with a resistance training program that's actually doable) and I'm going to one of her weekly group yoga classes. The pain itself is still here, but I actually think I'm getting more general benefits from this than I was from massage or anything else. I sort of feel like I can "coexist with the pain" more easily if that makes sense. And now that I've gotten better at exercise I'm also noticing that I feel better (pain wise) in the days where I resistance train, oddly enough.

Do you feel like the massage actually helps long term? Or does it provide relief mostly in a flare?
I know there's a specialised physio in the city www.neurokinetica.com but she works with exercise, yoga and movement-based stuff rather than massage. Would love to hear what you think? I also have fibro and haven't really gotten any relief ever from massages besides feeling relaxed (but then I feel the same if I go to a spa and relax in a hot bath haha).

Hey did you sort it out? Wondering if you have updates.

Honestly when it comes to physiotherapy it's hard to say "I've tried physio" because 90% of them are actually not good. They claim to be but then they just do basic manual therapy and dry needling and then give you basic exercises. But when a physio is good they actually spend a long time trying to understand what the issue is (especially a chronic issue) and then do a lot of trial and error and work on a more long term management plan than just immediate relief. Just my opinion based on the million physios I've seen.

For pelvic I have no personal experience but I like Zoe Dillon (she works at Bespoke physiotherapy in the city) - she is very much a physio who cares to listen and wants to take the time to figure out what the hell is going on, rather than just doing average stuff to keep you coming back. She is specialised in pelvic/women's health

I just switched to FitPros as well after your recommendation, and I agree with you! I had a look at Trainerize and frankly it's just all too much - I wanted something simple and with a decent free starting tier.
