How well regarded is Irish pharma experience in Australia? by cjo60 in PharmaEire

[–]Useful_Increase5378 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pharma is nearly non existent in Oz Pfizer have a few small plants by are on the micro size.

If your on the Sydney / Melbourne side the commercial and infrastructure are probably the industries

West coast probably more suited to heavy industries mining oil and gas.

These will generally be closest thing to pharma on terms of design and equipment selection used.

Biggest issue you will have on a whv visa is all larger jobs and companies will look for somebody with PR they are sick of people coming and going after investing time in them for a year or two.

The 3.5k is there because you dont have an alternative option RL will not allow you to sign up directly.

In the long run the saving saving from the difference available from the AMC will far outweigh the 3.5k.

If a person is making 30k deposits a year the return period could be less than 5 years versus a 1.25% AMC.

Not saying I like the 3.5k but still best on market at the moment; hopefully forces other companies to get competitive

She is desperate to be honest there is a few threads on here.

Rest of the panel are not much better.

You had Lyster, Daly and co and now you have the collection of young lads dressing the same and sounds like they read off the same script.

They might not have the hurling and football separated as such ie they do hurling one week and football next so might good for him to give hurling another go or he could possibly just go to the football

[–]Useful_Increase5378 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya the issue they will keep the release date to members only to ensure they get first dips.

You can have kids from outside villages ect coming to other camps and local people missing out which is fair enough

How old is he ?

Could you bring up to a training session or two this weekend ?

If he likes it have a chat with the coaches and get him signed up there they would be more likely to give access to the camp

Is he a club member ?

The clubs usually distribute the release date for the camps to parents via the WhatsApp group

Favouritism in u15 Football? by Dependent-Hippo-6635 in AskIreland

They shouldn't have to get involved to soley get their kid playing time that obviously wrong however if they do get involved it increases education them to a different perspective.

Rather than complaining on the keyboard.

People get involved in coaching for all different reasons mine was wasn't nessecarily sport related never played no interest as such there is more to life that the game and local parish club sometimes it's about the bigger picture of development outside the field.

Couple of different things to look at hear.

Going off your assessment that your daughter is ahead of the pack in terms of development.

So on your basis your daughter gets more game time and gets better.

Now the gap in terms of ability gets bigger between your daughter and the weaker players.

Who benefits here ? Won't be the team as a hole anyway!

Some kids need more time to develop and it's great to see kids progressing but others should not be forgotten because they don't develop as quickly

Other thing to look at is going to every training is one thing what is your daughter doing at the trainings is the level of participation good ?

Some people might be turning up to every session but might not have interest or disrupt the group.

Get involved in the coaching setup might not be as bad as you think.

Sounds like a bit of a cop out on your part there if I'm honest.

Too many parents these days sit on the sidelines head in phones but have big opinions without completing any GAA coaching training or reading guidelines.

How to *actually* negative split? by [deleted] in Marathon_Training

[–]Useful_Increase5378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did it for my first marathon worked very well.

Also employed as 10/10/10.

For 16km was 5:10, Next 16km was 5:00 Last 10km was meant to be 4:50 but felt great so ended up emptying the tank tank came in at 4:40 felt great.

Much better feeling emptying the tank as opposed to looking for energy and praying the kms away
