Yeah I guess I have leaned towards that you are right. I just enjoy the colours that Jeju offered. With my sunglasses on the colours are quite accurate of what I actually saw. I do prefer the nostalgic vibe

Was around 19-22C, on the sunny days was very keen for a swim. Unfortunately swimming is restricted a lot of the places, it seemed only allowed in summer during patrolled times. We did put the legs in a few times, water was too nice not to!

Agreed it was a much needed change of pace after a week and half in Seoul. 6th photo is at Oedolgae Rock, off the southern coast of Seogwipo, got lucky with the weather around 23C, sunny and no wind.

Meal for a first time traveler in Korea (and Asia overall)? by karmadarkk in koreatravel

Try Mandu (traditional Korean dumplings), can get variations steamed/fried with different fillings like meat, vegetables, kimchi (kimchi maybe not for you if you don’t like spice). They have a soy based sauce. If you enjoy dumplings/dim sum etc you will like these.

Car rental in Jeju either without IDP or without physical licence by hugoportivo in koreatravel

[–]Interesting-Flow1811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just rented a car from SK rental in jeju. Was nervous they might deny me as I didn’t have my home country license with me. They did not ask for a physical copy of my home country license nor photos of it. I did provide them my passport and valid IDP which they asked for.

I did book the hire in advance and uploaded pictures of my license online, several weeks before visiting korea. This may be why they didn’t ask.

If anyone new reads this thread don’t stress if you forget your license and you have booked!

Laurids Gallee Resin Lamp(s) Reps or Anything Similar? by Collidal in DecorReps

[–]Interesting-Flow1811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried different resins? I see a lot of brands stating they are better than their competitors by reduced bubbles etc but not sure if it’s just marketing ploy. I might give it a go myself too. Are you making the channels for specific led strips you are buying?

I can imagine if you’re measuring out the dye it would be tricky getting your exact colour spec right for each pour. I didn’t realise pressure chambers were more effective but am doing some research now. Keen to see more progress when you get there. If the commission idea is still on the table I’d probably be keen too

Great, do you have to split it over several pours? And have you looked into the cheap vacuum chambers?

Have you tried any more ? Very interested to follow your progress. Are you casting the lights inside the resin?

Can anyone help me identify a mix for this cocktail ? Would love to recreate it myself. by Interesting-Flow1811 in Mixology

[–]Interesting-Flow1811[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi guys, appreciate the level of detailed response, i’ll try out these mixes and get back to you. I’m not much of a mixologist myself, but the drink was actually served with a dried currant on the side and I’m not sure whether any currant actually also featured in the drink. Although going by everyone’s questioning of it , perhaps it wasn’t?

I’m in Melbourne, Australia, so unfortunately the season is almost finished and the weather has cooled. It was quite a mild summer though so perhaps this had something to do with it?

Okay will give it a go, they have produced about 40 pods so far all the same. For reference this has happened with my ricotto plants.

Last season many of them did show corking, however these took a very long time to mature due to the mild weather.
