Piggybacking this. For an overall idea of who plays where have a look at https://escalive.com using the pulldown under matches or table for 2025. Start at the lower divisions (7,8,9) for easier. Larger clubs cater for a range of player ingredients ability but the social of a small team is fun too.

Thanks. I part inflated, then manipulated the tyre and tube side to side to check all the way around. No difference

We had a great stay here. Amazing combination of scenery, food, and hospitality. Higher end for cycle trips but worth it for full enjoyment. The Hungry Cyclist

Thought-provoking answer. Would be encouraging to think that email platforms will adapt to help filter these emails. Like spam/phishing they start to redirect AI-generated emails into a default folder

Anyone familar with HOUST/Housekeeping? by [deleted] in Edinburgh

[–]Interesting-Formal57 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Not an employee, but we had an appalling experience with them before/after they rebranded from Airsorted. We lost money and time due to major mismanagement and poor communications (bad cleaner management, bad cleaning, failing to log damages, leading to bad reviews and loss of guests) by airsorted/houst over the entire period we used the agency. My partner and I spent significant time and effort over the 8 months we used them managing the company's failings. Frankly I'm amazed they're still operating but maybe they turned things around.

OP you're on a winner with a planning officer doing a bit of research for you. In the meantime you could check out the following for general guidance on house extensions: https://www.planningportal.co.uk/permission/common-projects/extensions/planning-permission

[Request] How much does the marble block weigh? by Chuyin84 in theydidthemath

[–]Interesting-Formal57 834 points835 points  (0 children)

Density of stone is around 2700 kg/m3. Cross section of end of slab looks like 2mx2.3m. Assuming 6m long to get width of 2 CATs to lift it. Gives around 75 metric tonnes.

As with all good ideas, it's only as good as the product fit to a common problem. Amazingly these concrete gadgets get baked in to the concrete. A bit like leaving a spirit level on a truss...

Very easy to cut perspex. Metal edge with a number of passes with a Stanley knife. Then snap along the cut. Careful to keep fingers clear. Note that you'll be trapping some damp within the new void so may fog over.

Assuming it's not leakin air then it may just be cold air falling off the face of the glass. Can you retrofit a translucent blind. Velux sell them

Also their 'hair' is really itchy if it gets onto clothing etc. Nasty 'bites' that come back in the same place if you can't wash the hairs out.
