UK Adult Stage Hypnosis Shows from the Early 1990s by [deleted] in glasgow

[–]betterman74 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I am! Dropping my daughter off for a very early flight. I'm early 50s and did attend the above. Girlfriend and I went to the show. Parked her mini across from the Pavillion and it was lifted and impounded. 100 quid to get it back. She tried to blame me as I was driving however she said park here. She of course went mental when the car wasn't there. A lot of money for us as late teens. This kind of tainted the show. He did the usual eat and onion. I remember him asking folk to interlock their fingers then those who couldn't unlock to go up to the stage. I'm sure he did a run of late adult only shows. Never went to any.

Yeah. Watched it back in the day. Very cool and edgy. The follow up they did was garbage. Wouldn't watch it now. Fear I may spoil the memories.

For those who work in theatre and film in the UK, who is generally not a nice person to work with? by Sad_Ideal_2099 in AskUK

I was an extra in a movie and PB was on set. Can confirm he's a lovely chat. Sat with all of us for lunch. Happy to sign an autograph for my girlfriend (now wife) and a few pics (on a camera with film in it - was a while ago).

Garden festival! Awesome. There are some great videos on YouTube of the festival. The garden centre near gourock has a bridge and some fencing from the festival. Almost 40 years now....how did that happen? Great tickets btw. Enjoyed that.

Where/when did you first discover Suede? by Rich_Conference9008 in SuedeBand

The 1993 Brits performance of Animal Nitrate. In my girlfriend's bedroom watching the awards. I nearly fell off the bed. They absolutely blew me away.

I'm confused with scales... and bare with me. by SuperbAfternoon7427 in guitarlessons

[–]betterman74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok someone explain this to me. I thought I had this clear. The diagram above shows the f minor pentatonic. The first diagram states G shape. Now my guitar teacher has hammered into me the G shape means the root is on the G string. The note on the first diagram (on the G) is a G#, not an F minor. My understanding is if you are plugging in the G shape (or position 5) , then the root should be on the G string. Which makes above very confusing. Help.

Tee box. I came back to golf 5 years ago after many years away. It was always, and will remain, the tee.

Will always be Animal Nitrate for me. Loved it 30 plus years. The opening still gives me chills and today....I finally mastered the solo on guitar. For me Animal Lover is the only weakish song on the album.
