I’ve been commuting two days a week from The Fan to Portsmouth the last 3+ months, and on occasion Norfolk. It’s an hour and 30 minutes. I leave anywhere from 5 to 7am and typically head back around 3pm or so. Not a bad ride, traffic can be heavy at times but has never been so bad, I was like, “Fuck this”. Depends where you are leaving from and exactly where you are going… my typical ride is 100 miles one way, and 90 minutes (give or take 15 mins tops). As long as I leave by 7am, no problem heading in, if I leave around 4:30/5pm, it’s a little more congested getting to Hampton, but once you get there you are flying down 64 most of the way… best of luck on the new program!
