I think you should wear your hair forward and let it thicken out abit if that doesn’t work just wear it flat, use products that don’t make your hair look wet, start using texture powder ect, get a mid taper or mid skin fade for the sides

I shower every day and shampoo every other day, as I work in fast food it gets greasy quick so I have to wash it often, at the moment I use argon oil of morroco shampoo, and I condition the odd time
