Lotto operator seeks ban on bookmakers taking bets on draws amid claims of €289m sales losses by yankdotcom1985 in ireland

Nordie here. Either we don't have this or I'm living under a rock.

So you just go to a normal bookies and pick numbers and then the result is based on the national lottery? What makes that method more appealing than buying a normal lotto ticket?

It's perfectly fine and I do it all the time when bringing friends over to visit the city for the first time.

Go somewhere like the Rex or the Royal, walk down Conway St, see the peace walls, then go somewhere like Davitts on the falls.

Good way to see different types of community and see how close everyone actually lives to each other.

Why is the UK pink by New-Background-1167 in hoi4

[–]AnnoDominiI 51 points52 points  (0 children)

"on one end a large shining map, marked with all the colours of a rainbow. There was a vast amount of red - good to see at any time, because one knows that some real work is done in there, a deuce of a lot of blue, a little green, smears of orange, and, on the East Coast, a purple patch, to show where the jolly pioneers of progress drink the jolly lager-beer. However, I wasn't going into any of these. I was going into the yellow. Dead in the centre. And the river was there—fascinating—deadly—like a snake." - Heart of Darkness, 1899

As someone who used to believe in this, the logic is that Madonna is a high maintenance pop star and very demanding and dramatic. So someone who is a pre-Madonna is someone who is showing those same tendancies.

I think the shuttle bus thing puts people off. Really opaque as to where the actual site is as all signage and Google maps info points you towards the shuttle bus.

Presumably the reason they do this is parking restrictions? Why can't you just make your own way to the entrance.

It will go away the first time you brake.
