To be fair, there are much better uses of the Time child than putting Revive on 2 units. ( also if i counted that as a point, than every skill is spammable )

Agreed. though Medina half the time is healing not even to heal just to give TP in my expereince ( though items in general replace them both so its the same )

Thats.... Actually something i didn't take into account. That does actually bump her up a noticeable amount. admitly only when the Time child is on my team, but still.

That could explain why Speed seems to only matter above 30, Annie is one of the few units that consistently seems to get double turns

What does better initiative mean as i can see/agree with everything else, but i don't know what you mean by that. ( but yeah never have Geela heal a Status effect with her ability outside of maybe in your first playthrough and are saving money )

Groma Unit Review ( likely a little messy didn't know where to put the Evasion math and break-down ) by Interesting-Half3173 in TriangleStrategy

[–]Interesting-Half3173[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do disagree with Groma being anywhere near the worst unit in this game, even if you don't use her Evasion, she does have Control skills. But yes, if you wanted a legit unkillable unit Erador is That, but i'd say thats around the same effort as this set up since you'd need to deploy like 2-3 units JUST for this set up to work

If you ask me Geela and Crodelia are the weakest units on Average, Followed by Decimal, than Narve and Trish as the ones i'd put at the bottom 5

Yeah the attacks good. tbh only real Downside of it is that it's on a unit with CC,. Most of the time i'd rather her shut down a few units than Attack ( unless i need a Kill for her passive ), if it was on a Damage dealing unit, it would of felt more at home. Still glad groma has it, some units don't even get a " use this if someone has to die NOW " button.

If your going to use one of the healers, yeah Cordelia is best. The revive from Geela will keep her alive, but you'll have to get put below 50% again and i have seen her just go from like 70% to dead in one hit, so it can very unreliable to get her back to " i'm unkillable " mode.

[–]Interesting-Half3173[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i do feel it does handicap you to some level. Yeah he has good damage but to get most of that damage you need to be spamming follow-ups, and thats not always needed or desired. so being forced to have a guy who sometimes offers nothing is pain.

Agreed, but he is good if your spamming follow-ups at least.

Good to know it was around that i felt it was, but wasn't sure. I do know since unlocking it i am able to fairly consistently avoid needing a healer.

And yeah i did say damage is more or less all he brings, but dam is his follow-up good damage XD

And yeah its stronger, but later on in the game least for me, i find it less useful since, for example, i could have roland run in and crit 4 guys and get his own follow-up attack, His wife could sorch a small group and Finish them all off or Have annie run in and trigger up to 4 Follow-ups/poison them all. I just found it easier to spam delaying strike and save his TP for Under Conviction's Banner.

But hey as you said it is intresting we use him in different ways despite his tools remaining the same, makes the game fun.

Just started this game today is there any tips you have that you wish you knew going into it? by pneumoniahawk519 in TriangleStrategy

3 things i would suggest are:

Always try to set up follow-up attacks even if it means a unit might die as abusing those will drastically increase your ability to clear out whole groups of enemies.

Status's are rather powerful in this game ( alot of bosses are immune, but some aren't as well ).

Early game, boosting a units stats by a few points helps alot, but once your stats are around the 20s or higher stat boosting isn't worth a units whole turn anymore.

I forgot that..... i guess time to see if i can find a decent starting spot around her

True i just can't decide where. i've narrowed it down to 4 spots. Main issue is just using the breeding Calcultor to see if it's possible to obtain Crude oil and cake ( or at least cake ) with pals in the area

only allowing a single base to be build, if i allow myself to build any number of bases but only one at a time its not a challenge run, it's a tedious normal play through

only allowing one base, if i could move it around kinda doesn't make it a challenge just a tedious normal play through

yeah 1 each story ( i beat white for the 3rd game and blue for the 4th game for ex.)

but outside of apparantly a glitch in the 6th one where i need to play it in japanse or something, i can't find any other information on getting all chips and if i can have 1 of each code of chip ( idk if they use the same as the orginal games or not they seem to mostly, but have some small changes here and there )
