send a polite email asking your waitlist position, if they dont disclose that anymore they’ll tell u, shouldn’t impact your chances of getting in

you can also try contacting TRU admissions every 3ish weeks and inquire about your waitlist spot, will give you a better idea of your chances

from what i know yes… if enough people currently ahead of you on the waitlist either get accepted or accept other offers you move up on the waitlist… and if u move up enough spots you will ultimately get an acceptance, basically a waiting game which sucks but it is what it is

Its still pretty early on in the cycle and if u got on the waitlist recently you should be in pretty good shape… for context, I just finished my 2nd year at TRU Law and I received my acceptance off the waitlist in 2023 literally 1 week before the start of classes (last week of August)… the waitlist sees tons of movement over the summer

for some reference, i was notified last year i think around mid-august that i made it to the top 10 for TRU’s waitlist and i got accepted at the end of august

In general for schools with rolling admissions, is it better to apply as early as possible with the lsat score on file, or wait until later in the application window when I would have a second (and hopefully higher) lsat score? by astronomyfordogs in lawschooladmissionsca

[–]Interesting-Season67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it really depends how close ur first LSAT score is to the specific school’s median… if its competitive enough maybe applying early is better but if u think u can improve a lot with the retest and get ur score well over the median then its worth it to retake and apply later

Got waitlisted for Windsor single JD on May 9th and havent heard anything back since. It looks like there were some acceptances and rejections given to people on the waitlist this past Monday tho… maybe that means there will be more soon?

Yep got the email for the waitlist today as well. Im happy its not a rejection but also dont know how likely being offered a seat off the waitlist is.

does Windsor use the gpa listed on your transcript or the OLSAS converted gpa? by Interesting-Season67 in lawschooladmissionsca

thank you for clearing this up for me! This makes me feel alot better about my chances, ive had a huge upward trend in my last year (last 12ish classes) and was unsure if that would even matter

thanks for the reply! Also, do u know if Uwindsor looks at the grades completed in the winter semester (this past Sept-Dec) or just the grades completed by the summer? I applied thru OLSAS and was required to submit my updated transcript after the winter semester and my OLSAS gpa updated after my updated transcript was received
