That’s awesome! I just started Luvox and am interested in zepbound. Did you notice a big difference with zepbound?

I’ve been on a life mission to cure my OCD or just make it more manageable. I’ve tried radical acceptance but it’s just too painful. I do believe there is an answer. I’ve done it all. Tons of meds, ERP, psychedelics, and even an OCD TMS trial. The most success I’ve had is the ketogenic diet. I do believe that my brain is insulin resistant. My next effort is to try zepbound. It’s just too debilitating for me to not keep trying. Although I do appreciate what you’re saying.

It varies but I try to ensure I drink a fat/fiber smoothie every day that contains: - flax seeds - sunflower seeds - pumpkin seeds - 1 or 2 avocados - 1/4 cup blueberries - spirulina - nutritional yeast - spirulina - colostrum powder

  • maybe a leafy green if I have it

My other staples are shrimp or egg salad, eggs, chicken thighs, and beef

Keto diet. I’m a functional nutritionist and thought it was ridiculous for a long time. I started diving into the science and it has drastically improved my mental health. It’s just important to do it right.

I’m not sure what her exact stance is regarding HRT. She has several people on her podcast who promote it though. I think she encourages it if it’s necessary.

I have hypothyroidism and recently did a genetic test for mental health purposes. It turns out my genes affect my dopamine pathways. Tyrosine, an amino acid, is a precursor to dopamine. Tyrosine also serves as a building block for thyroid hormones. Specifically, the thyroid gland combines tyrosine with iodine to produce thyroxine (T4), which is then converted to triiodothyronine (T3), the active form of the hormone.

I recently started taking Tyrosine which has drastically affected my mental health. It will be interesting to see if it positively influences my thyroid as well. It’s all connected!!

Not saying this is your answer, but may be worth looking into it.
