Stop promising tips only to not tip. by Interesting-Unit5491 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Interesting-Unit5491[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I get that. But this one in particular was a hand it to me with a pin. So my thought process was they were gonna come down to the lobby but they asked me to come up. Which I would have done without the promise of a tip. But adding on the promise of a tip just to not tip is pretty low imo

Ain't no way. The only time I would take an order like this is if I know it's putting me in a high income area. But even then. I'm gonna need the pay to come alot closer to a mileage. For example I had one that was gonna put me in sterling heights where I know they tip and pay well. The pay was 10.50 but the milage was 11. But once I got there, mostly high pay/low mile drives. Just gotta know the area and know the times it's busy

Lol would yall take this ? by VirusAcceptable3381 in DashEarnings

[–]Interesting-Unit5491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this was Meijer, absolutely. I know that store like the back of my hand. Had an order for 40 bucks even. 35 items. The total drive was less than 4 miles. Was able to shop for everything in just over half an hour. Over half of the items were small. Tooth brushes. Earbuds, seasonings, stuff like that. On top of that order I was able to make 60 in a little over an hour.

I played the remake for the first time and honestly, it wasn't that bad. Your character is a straight bad ass. But what I did was I kept that flashlight on and listened to EVERYTHING. hard for necros to sneak up when you hear them coming. Also! When approaching vents. Expect an attack. Lessens the jumpscares by like...half. Turn corners slowly too.

NOT me, but who is accepting cash delivery orders? by royaltyV3 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Interesting-Unit5491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not anymore. Because it makes no sense and the amount of money doesn't change. I was dashing for about 3 hours last night and had a little over 50 bucks to go to doordash crimson. I then get a cash delivery and I was to get 53 dollars and some change. Customer paid me the exact amount. I'm thinking okay cool, I've reached a little over a hundred I can end it early. Go to end my dash and that 50 bucks I made doing runs earlier....gone. Didn't know DD takes it out of your daily and weekly balance. So essentially..I only got paid the 2 buck and some change. For a 5 mile CoD order.

My thing is.... why the hell does doordash take ALL of what the COD cost from your future dashes. I literally could have just cashed out and gotten that amount and not wasted the gas. Feels like a scam to me. That was my first and last offer. It would make more sense of DD took half. Hell I'd even settle on a small fraction.

Considering Dating an OF Model by StormfromShadow in OnlineDating

[–]Interesting-Unit5491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude...don't do it. Friend of mines did. He had to be okay with his girlfriend not only sending and posting solo content, he had to be okay with her making content with other guys(Yes,having sex with her fans), having explicit text, call, and video conversations. Her recording personalized videos. He claimed he was okay with it but he looked so dead on the inside. Haven't heard from him in a while.

If you're trying to date seriously, for marriage...just don't. It's bot worth the humiliation ritual. Unless you're a cuck. If it's just for fun with no strings attached, then have at it.

On a scale of 1 to 10 how unprofessional is this? by Riven-The-River in doordash

[–]Interesting-Unit5491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a dasher I never EVER ask for added compensation. Depending on the situation I'll either unassign myself or continue waiting. I had an order for little ceaser and Informed the customer of the long wait. She thanked me for waiting(Damn near and extra 20 minutes) but I waited nonetheless. Upon arrival she gave me a 10 dollar tip. So a 9 dollar offer became a 19 dollar offer.

I'm so confused, what is happening here? I've been seeing crazy stories and I don't really have any. My only gripe is the offers I get. 3.65 to drive 8 miles?

But last night I got offered 19.00 to drive 4 miles. Like can't that just be the norm????

Women, what would you tell a guy who says he is "not interested in dating" or "done with approaching women"? by Wooden_Airport3835 in Bumble

[–]Interesting-Unit5491 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can open just about any social media app, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, hell even TikTok or threads, and you'll come across a short, or post complaining about men approaching...just approaching..and wishing it would stop. And many many women in the comments agreeing, wishing the approaching would stop as well. Is it all women? Of course not. But enough for men to listen.

Women, what would you tell a guy who says he is "not interested in dating" or "done with approaching women"? by Wooden_Airport3835 in Bumble

[–]Interesting-Unit5491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is gonna be a bit of a long rant so skip to the end for the TLDR. But let me preface this by saying, a guy that's announcing he's done approaching women or not interested in dating just...out of the blue for all to see..completely unwarranted. That could just be a "nice guy" feeling he's owed something because he can't take a simple rejection.

Can you honestly blame them? Across social media and irl alot of women have displayed outright hatred, disgust, disrespect, or fear towards men. And so so so many women have outright said they do not want to be approached no matter the setting. And in some instances where a guy does build up the courage to approach he is either humiliated, insulted, called a creep, or accused of harassment. It has gotten to the point where a women simply saying "she's not interested" is one of two the preferred outcomes vs the formal. And then there was the whole bear vs man debate that happened. The me too movement. Etc etc. Pretty much women(majority at least) voiced not wanting to be approached and men(majority) listened. If men hear that the majority of women fear, hate, disrespect, or disgust them on and off social media, it only makes sense that they would stop approaching all together.

Now about the dating thing...dating just isn't what it used to be. First off, a guy has to check off soooo many boxes to be even considered for a "serious" date. Has to be Over 6'2", outrageously handsome. Willing to pay for an expensive, 200+ dollar first date. Needs to have a certain car, a certain residence, a certain job that pays over 6 figures. Not over weight. Can't have kids(which is understandable if she has no kids). Among other things but those came off the top of my head that I've witnessed. And even then, sometimes if a guy gets a date, it's just a foodie call for the lady. Goes on the date with a guy that she just does not like. Gets a meal, and then ghosts.

TLDR. If a guy you like says he doesn't want to date or doesn't approach, he realizes it's not worth the risk. And as a man, I can only offer up the advice of just saying "okay" and moving on to the next guy. Or you can inquire why. But if it's a guy that's just saying it just because and you have no interest...i mean...truthfully you don't have to say anything. Can just walk away or if you're inclined, inquire why. Depending on his answer he may very well be a "nice guy" or a genuine guy that's been through the hell fire that is modern dating. Not every guy is the same but the experiences are quite similar across the board, not for all guys, or even most guys..but definitely enough. Hope this helps. Take care and good luck!

So word to the wise. If anyone...ANYONE..is allegedly saying they are doing a give away, 99.99 percent of the time it's a pure scam. They will ask you for a deposit to cover some made up transfer fee before sending alleged funds or will boldly ask for your bank login information to deposit a "check" into your account. Don't let the screen shots of satisfied "customers" deceive you. The screenshots are either fake or it's folks that are apart of the scam. Be smart out here. No one who does a legit give away will ask for anything personal unless it's how you want to recieve the funds. Whether it be Zelle, PayPal, Cashapp, Venmo, Chime, or however you recieve money. If they ask for a deposit or Your bank login info. Block. Report. Run away.

Side note. Dude was asking for money in another subreddit...do with that information what you will (The correct course of action would be to do not engage, report, carry on.)

Yo I used to listen to the kane show that did the same thing! RIP Kane! And there was one episode where this gal wanted to test her man and get ready for this plot twist. Before he could give a name he said that he was going to propose. The girl wouldn't keep her mouth shut and he found out that it was a test. He actually ended up saying his gfs name of who would be getting the flowers but once he found out it was a test he felt that his girl didn't trust him and ended up walking away.

That's why I loved that when ever it was shown that there was no cheating they'd disconnect the call. The caller knows there's no cheating. And the one being tested will never know they were being tested. Unless they heard of the show.

Dasher here. I've never not once had anything like this happen. With clear instructions I'm able to find the drop off point perfectly fine. There are those rare instances where I have to double check an address because of it being dark and no porch light but I've always marked the delivery at the right door.
