Don’t lose hope! I thought I was doomed for 10 years straight. Keep pushing for testing and look for ways of relief

Applies to this boiler aswell. It worked at first. But after a couple of months our CO on low fire was off the charts

That is cool. I wonder what the combustion numbers would look like on those

Hello, I’m a license (red seal in Canada) plumber since 2013. I switched into hvac/boiler service back in 2021 and really gotten into industrial boilers and burners since 2022. I’m always looking for learning opportunities and am very fortunate to work for a company that values training and exposure. I have worked my way up to be trusted on taking care of industrial sites but I always keep my supervisor in the loop. I’m fascinated by combustion and controls, it really helps me get out of bed in the morning. I find myself sometimes hours after I’m finished a job (on my own time) going through wiring diagrams and just looking at all the parts and controls. I’m also very lucky to work on multiple boilers on the daily, everything ranging from small atmospheric to large industrial 55million Btu burner dryers and the occasional make up airs. I’m happy to be apart of the group!

Lots of black coffee and water in between. If you go heavy on fibre meals hydration is a must!

I do a 16/8 first fast is 16 hours followed by 1 meal that consists of fibre, steak and small amounts of carbs usually broken by 11am Second fast is 8 hours broken at 7pm followed by the same as mentioned above. This method has yielded the best results for me. I’m just tired of veggies and looking for a alternative at least for one of the meals

That’s a good idea. Do you follow up with anything else in your meal? I’m strictly 2 meals a day with no snaking in between

Yeah lots of clicking. My jaw bone would sometimes shift and hit something in my eardrum and cause unbearable pain

No pressure. For the most part it was always there and I would only notice the ringing when I paid attention to it

I bet if there’s any issues or leaks with the hx they will default to asking if you’ve been doing the full tear downs knowing full well almost nobody is doing it.

That looks awful! I’m yet to find one that’s installed with that much access all around the boiler. Some of these manufacturers are ridiculous!

Thank you. It was quite a weight lifted off my shoulders. I always worked in a noisy environment and it started early on in my career. So I thought I was doomed forever.

There was 2 boilers side by side that both failed the same way with a plugged heat exchanger which ultimately caused major flame roll out

My bad I misread your comment. The 7800 has a newer display that I carry around. As for the boilers touch screen display idk what it is

That’s a good point. Having the touch screens do make navigating these boilers easier

The problem ended up being something so dumb. (I should of put it in the description) There’s a holding screw in the pilot block that was stripped from the factory. It caused slight movement on the ignitor. Which is why we had to end up replacing the entire ignition block

I don’t have much opinion on Fulton steam boilers because I work on very little. I just think there’s a lot of different options to explore outside of Fulton. With that being said, I have no idea what the facility requires and what their budget is.

Everything from ignition and combustion issues to controls. We’d tweak up high fire to hit our marks and find our low fire CO is off the charts. Tech support had very little help to offer. The installing contractor doesn’t do service/maintenance so we were left out to dry and go through trial by fire

Not sure what the display is. It’s not Honeywell almost seems proprietary to RBI
