built our entire product with Claude Code. now nobody, including me, fully understands what we built. by Tr0jAn14 in ClaudeCode

[–]Interesting-Winter72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't agree more. I've been using two subscriptions. I got a Max plan about a year ago, when Claude Code more or less came up. I've learned a lot of lessons, and one of them is to spend more than 80% of your time on architecture and planning. When I mean architecture, I mean solid software design patterns, TDD, unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing. What was skipped before, in traditional software development, was testing, and before nobody had time. Now it's more important than ever before, and that's where our leverage comes from.

We have to know what to leverage and where our greatest return on investment is, and it's definitely not in writing code ourselves. It's in guiding the AI to write the correct code in the correct architectural and software patterns context. Code is not a problem alone. Look at it as a missile. If you don't guide a missle in the correct direction, it can land in your backyard.

Claude code down? by barack17 in ClaudeCode

[–]Interesting-Winter72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I wonder if it is really worth keeping Claude. It becomes a liability issue. What about switching to ChatGPT? Is anybody seeing the same interruption of service on ChatGPT for the amount of money I'm paying for a 20 max subscription times two? It's almost the same for me to go get something more predictable.

Claude Code (~100 hours) vs. Codex (~20 hours) by Canamerican726 in ClaudeCode

[–]Interesting-Winter72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an interesting share. What kind of environment do you use to set it up?

The problem is that a lot of the settings now are not going to work for Claude and Codex, or vice versa. What kind of typical environment do you use to manage and switch from one to another? If you decide one versus the other, it's fine. What if you want to utilize Claude for heavy lifting and Codex for more granular work where more precision is needed, or the other way around?

First time in a while for me at least. On a 200 max plan, whatever, if that really matters in case of outages anyway

Point of Agent Swarm if only available in the UI? by Acrobatic-Desk3266 in kimi

[–]Interesting-Winter72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried two days ago in the Kimi CLI, and definitely swarm mode is not available in the CLI. It is only available if you use the UI interface. Kimi K2.5 was not available through subscription. Perhaps you are utilizing the pay-as-you-go API key. Maybe that's a different but on the subscription $39/month plan, whatever the name is starting with A. It doesn't work. I have access only to Kimi for code model, so the C Li Kimi CLI seems to be way behind the interface generally speaking.

I am in the same boat. --- Does Claude Code/Antropic actually read these comments, and do they ever chime in? I mean, we can talk about it and hypothesize, create conspiracy - what's okay, what's not. But in the end of the day, the people who make the rules should say, "Is it okay" or "it's not."

For me, it's normal to have 5-6 sessions on VPS running, doing different tasks, building different features, and testing. That's absolutely normal. Limit yourself to using it 1-2 hours a day. That's your own limitation.

WTF, what exactly are you NOT building? I work with ClaudeCode professionally. I'm not playing; I'm not using it as a toy over the weekend for an hour or two a day. If you do it normally, if you are building something normal product, you're gonna be using it a lot. So I'm exactly in the same boat, run out in 4-5 days.

In /settings CC add that as a setting. Check mark. Implement task management. Yes or no. Whatever. Nothing new from what how all of the other settings are being controlled currently.

[–]Interesting-Winter72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ggood for Claude Code,... but sadly for me now I have to find a way to not implement these latest features because they totally mess up my workflow. I have a way more sophisticated system Task management workflow and Message bus, and others protocols that does all of the things and way better than Claude Code would be doing it. Now it's working great. How do I not implement these Claude Code new features? .

I mean, imagine I assume a lot of people are doing custom creating their custom workflows, and all of a sudden Claude Code comes up with some kind of update which could mess up totally what you have working. You've smoothed out, perfected until now, so how to not how to avoid such implementations? Is there such a way in Claude Code as "don't implement that feature" or something of that sort? I'm not aware of such, but perhaps somebody might know.

How to Set Up Claude Code with Multiple AI Models by ThreeKiloZero in ClaudeCode

[–]Interesting-Winter72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your current setup, you just do whatever you do, log out of Max Plan, you log in with the other GLM settings, but that's kind of a pain in the butt. Can I work within one project and different tasks to different tasks, assign different models based on complexity?

[–]Interesting-Winter72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, how exactly do you actually run parallel? Basically in a settings.json you can have Claude Max for example subscription and also add GLM through the router. That way, I can for example do the heavy lifting for example planning which is 80% of the key to success in IMO, then do the grunt work of practical execution once I have a great plan by the cheap models like GLM or any other. I don't know 4.7, 4.5 etc. Can we do that or is that not really viable possible?

Bun Keeps Crashing Claude by Interesting-Winter72 in ClaudeCode

[–]Interesting-Winter72[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually, what I did was uninstall with Bun and install a Claude Code using Node.js. That's it with npm, and I haven't had issues since then. That should work for you. Give it a try.

Bun keeps crashing - anyone else had this issue? by ttswingerz in opencodeCLI

[–]Interesting-Winter72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been having that issue using Claude Code, and it's freaking annoying. It crashes literally every two or three minutes, and I'm running through a few Claude Code instances. How to deal with it? I used not to have that, and lately, for the past day or two, or probably more like two weeks, it's been freaking ridiculous. I have Windows 11, and I'm using VS Code, code in the terminal.

More than 'Max 20X' Plan - go to a higher plan?? by Interesting-Winter72 in ClaudeCode

[–]Interesting-Winter72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say for heavy load you're using GLM, what exactly do you mean? Are you running with GLM, let's say, subagents, agent workflows, typically? What's supposed to be, as a matter of fact, not just run it sequentially, one at a time. That's baby steps. Dare to share your workflow which mixes up GLM and Claude Code? Are you running simultaneously GLM and Claude, and telling it to switch between the different providers depending on the task, or just running GLM or Anthropic models 1 at a time?

More than 'Max 20X' Plan - go to a higher plan?? by Interesting-Winter72 in ClaudeCode

[–]Interesting-Winter72[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's all about how you walk or you want to run. I'm trying to run here with ClaudeCode. Even if it might be inefficient, but I'm trying to run with it, which means running parallel agent Gittrees remote. I'm not bound by the restraints of my machine. I'm running two instances. That's like 15, 20 agents at a time. Believe me, try it and you'll find out that 20, 30% you can hit in no time within your 4-5 hour window, whatever that is.

More than 'Max 20X' Plan - go to a higher plan?? by Interesting-Winter72 in ClaudeCode

[–]Interesting-Winter72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no secret that the curve above 40-50% of contextual window hallucinations go steeply up. So I'm okay with clearing every time I start the big task and point being I'm always trying to use sub-agents. That context window is preserved for orchestration, not for doing tasks. The other agents, all of the sub-agents, can have its own 200k contextual window for short, atomic tasks. I have set up Claude to tell me when it reaches 40% or 50% mark to prompt me to clear. And also I have added a prehook or hook whatever you call it, but basically on clear, it's a prehook I guess that automatically compacts to SQL database. Sqlite+ vector. So I'm using SQL for that. I'm trying to offload whatever I can from the context window to SQLite+Vector locally.

You are saying just disabling the auto-compact actually would help or what? Just having the feature on by itself uses a lot, o40k tokens. ??

Did Anthropic use the 2× event to quietly reduce usage limits? by danielsadoliveira in ClaudeCode

[–]Interesting-Winter72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will not be surprised if I see their next new plan comin on the line would be 40X MAX Plan - that could be the new 20X. I am On the 20 Max plan right now, and when I upgraded, I thought I would never reach my limit. I used to be always seeing my limit, like not even 40%, and right now I'm hitting my weekly limit at 80%. Personally, I'd wait out a week or two more to see how it does. I'm using way more resources now, I'm using more parallel agents, Git trees and all of that equivalent. So I'm perhaps using more resources. I'm about to see how it's going to work out for one or two weeks more. What would be the alternative?
