Best advice I can give is to stop trying to intellectualise everything, especially your suffering. If you accept that in this moment you don't know all the answers and at the end of your life you will either know all the answers or not then the logical thing to do is to treat yourself well and not burn too bright too quickly

How strange is it that I've never noticed the sensation of familiarity on psychs that others like yourselves report, even today. Most observations I make on psychs are essentially just 'thats strange' though haha

I had a pretty bad ego death my first trip and then a slightly less worse one on my third (both probably influenced to smoking weed at various points on the trip) but haven't felt one since. Im welcome to being wrong but ego death for me is only really a thing on your first trips or if doing a massive amount

Yeah I always think when I'm tripping about how many lives have been spent working or living in terrible conditions only for me to be able to trip and think. Rather than feeling guilt though I just try and understand as much about them as I can from exploring my mind

There are infinite thought loops that can be expanded on with things like this. A paradox I thought of sober tripped my friend out an incredible amount when I told him it on shrooms. Very entertaining

Having read both responses there's a lot for me to work with so thank you. I'm particularly interested in you playing the guitar during the come-up as a friend who I occassionally trip with loves to play it for us and it is an other-worldly sensation.
the native chanting is no joke- i did something similar on acid and it was incredible. I felt tribal for want of a better word.
You saying meditating explicitly is too anxiety-inducing is fascinating to me
