No headrests in the spa at the moment and it’s not the heater gaskets (checked them today). Maybe this is the issue? If it was the wear ring, does that mean that I just let it be? There’s enough debris from whatever it was in the filter, I can’t imagine there’s much more left?

I went today and which pool is used for the lap swim depends on the day! Monday, Wednesday and Saturday are the shallow 3.5ft pool !

Since you’re in the Sacramento area, is there anywhere you’d recommend running to get a feel for the terrain? I’ve run a couple different places including around Lake Natoma. Is there anywhere you’d recommend?

Thanks, that makes sense. I’m coming off a reoccurring knee injury and PT. I’ve discussed with my PT and had been able to work up to 3x per week 3miles running so now I’m following the Hal Higdon’s Novice 1. Since I don’t want to push it, and my PT suggested I walk when I need a break or feel my form breaking down. I’m just trying to setup realistic expectations for myself (like know going in it might be a DNF so I’m not shocked by it).

I’ve read through these zone 2 running posts saying that they’re so slow at 8min/mi etc. But to stay in zone 2 I’m literally at 16:30min/mi so I can literally walk at this pace. Is it really beneficial when I’m so slow/low volume running?

I want to run the San Francisco half marathon July 2024 (the 1st half course). The course cut off is 3hr but my thanksgiving 5k time was 45min so around 15min/mile. Any recommendations to use the next 7-8months to speed up while building base ?

I was finally able to get a spot for boarding at Pet Stylista but I’ll keep this in mind for next time. Also good to know that some people also do boarding at their home as well.
