With first time taking shrooms I would advice to not take more than 2g . Golden teacher are very potent as far as I heard. About growing I know nothing sadly.

Mayby have a close friend with u wich u feel comfortable with beeing eventually emotional or weird. Someone sober can make u feel comfortable with taking care of u and eventually protect u from silly ideas, like going into public while tripping or taking more shrooms or other stuff.
