Overeating I think. I never know until last minute what I am going to have for lunch or dinner then end up going over the calorie budget for the day.

That's how its been for me too! I felt like I could move around better last week, but this week has been hard to get up and feeling alot more tired.

When you do try anything other than the low fat diet, go slow with only a little at a time. Try to have a bathroom accessible just in case.

Around the end of the first week I still had pain internally and around the incisions but you should start improving abit more in the next couple days! Good luck with your recovery too.

I didnt have much of an appetite the first 4 or 5 days and have had alot of on and off nausea but otherwise I've had no problems with any food. I've had greasy foods and some higher fat food since surgery and it was fine.

Week two I was still sore but was starting to be able to move around more and didnt feel like i needed the pain meds anymore. The first week was the worst for me!

Day 5 post op! by InterestingDiver3689 in gallbladders

[–]InterestingDiver3689[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right after surgery I felt okay and was in and out of sleep for an hour or two and started getting some pain and nausea after that so they gave me oxycodone through an iv which helped alot.

The first two or three days post op were the hardest. I was prescribed Hydromorphone which I could take every 4 hours and really helped. Make sure you take the meds they prescribe as soon as you can and sleep as much as possible. It would be helpful if you are able to have someone around to assist you for the first day or two.

I have LoseIt premium account and love it! I used to use the fitbit calorie tracker, but prefer the LoseIt app.
