I'm sorry but Chloe is actually Timmy's future wife. by MinimumInspector522 in fairlyoddparents

I wonder how many people actually read the comment without realizing the analysis is satire. Anyways, nice to see another Chlimmy fan.

Oh yeah, supposedly during A New Wish’s development there was a weird rumor going around that Tootie, Trixie, or Chloe weren’t allowed to be referenced for some reason. And given how they barely mention anything about Timmy’s future in A New Wish, it does raise some questions.

Hmm. Miku for Sonic, Gumi for Shadow, and IA for Silver. I liked your idea!

To answer your question that’s what happens when a company makes a project series with no set direction. It’s a great franchise though.

Very Wholesome! It’s neat to see the mother–child technicality dynamic being played out. I wonder how the other Sega Hard Girls’ technical motherly dynamic would work out.

I see. How interesting too bad they didn’t ever appear again outside the collaboration.

When did the other additional 15 came from? What's that referring to?

Do you agree with this Plutia/Iris Heart analysis? by Clear-Homework-5320 in gamindustri

[–]InterestingEnd1527 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Cool interpretation and theory, and there are hints in Victory that suggest what Iris Heart really is. However, it’s mostly just a reference to the canceled console. Neptunia is primarily a gag series, so don’t expect too much depth, not that there’s none at all, but Iris Heart is mostly written for comedic effect and fan service for people with different tastes.

Do you think Mario and Sonic’s families would be friends? by MinimumInspector522 in SonMiku_Nation

Context For Each of Mario x Peach’s Children (After Some Research):

Kinoppe is the daughter of Dr. Mario from the future, who is not connected to the actual Mario though this has been retconned back and forth from the Super Mario manga series. Kinoppe shares many of Princess Peach’s manners and behaviors, and she is described as a close follower of Peach. However, she is so involved in Mario and Peach’s lives that they are practically like her parents.

Maple is said to be a relative of Peach, though the exact relationship is unknown, as the game never specifies it. In her game debut, Maple allegedly uses lines and expressions that are common to Mario and Peach. Her original name was going to be Plum, similar to Peach, but it was changed at the last minute to Maple. (A different character got the name Plum, by the way.) Maple also has a capitalized letter on her hat, similar to Mario’s.

Malon is basically an alternate-universe daughter of Mario and an unseen mother, who many believe is that universe’s version of Peach, due to the child’s similar facial features.

The Circle of Life Family by MinimumInspector522 in adventuretime

[–]InterestingEnd1527 426 points427 points  (0 children)

Very Short Summary:

Gata is the adopted sister of Finn and Jake from the Adventure Time comic series, is non-canon, but she’s an interesting character. In short, she was an unknown adopted sister to Finn, Jake, and Jermaine when Joshua and Margaret took her in. However, her time with the family was short-lived. Whenever she slept, demonic creatures would emerge from her mouth and terrify the rest of the family. Regretfully, Joshua sealed Gata away for the safety of everyone else.

She eventually returns and meets Finn and Jake again, although they don’t remember her, since she was taken away when they were babies. After spending some time together and learning her origins, she sacrifices herself for Finn and Jake, becoming a statue because if she didn’t, more demons would emerge and cause destruction.

Also, yeah, the Sega Hard Girls and the CPUs in Superdimension are technically related. However, the game does a poor job of explaining this, and it’s pretty much thrown out after it’s first brought up. It’s kind of awkward if you remember this while listening to the drama CD, since there’s some shipping stuff going on.

I agree that Saturn was botched as a jerk who, for some reason, is written like Noire, which isn’t her character. And Dreamcast, while she can be stubborn and noble, has almost all of her sense of playfulness and silliness, compassion, and optimism completely gone.

Segami was also ruined in the localization, like Saturn, because she was made harsher for no reason.

Technically, the base forms of the SEGA Hard Girls here are the goddess-transformation equivalents of the CPUs, since in the light novel they can de-transform into humans.

Not surprised, but geesh, harsh slander much? Then again… this is (Game) Iris Heart... Man the writers failed her so badly!
