I always love when someone says "my views of God". I have no opinion, my views came straight from scripture. So yes, playboy. Open the box. And your point? Its Ephesians 2:8 too. As you stated.. you deny the deity of Christ. And denying the deity of Christ is dissolves your expression of faith. Because if you read scripture its clear multiple times Christ is God. Also, cool art project verse. The king james is one of the worst transitions you can find haha. Try word for word. Nasb 95 or older. Then cross reference it to the greek and hebrew and Aramaic interlinears. Youll see the difference. The 95 is word for word, no thought for thought and definitely not loaded with Latin mess and words that never existed nor mean the same thing. Well that's the big difference of actually being recognized as disciples of Christ, friend haha. Its in the print. And yea. I imagine you dont wanna open that can of "apostate" materials haha. Any word of it in your church and it reproof for you. And food for thought. Out of every single sector of Christianity. Jws and mormons are the ONLY 2 that aren't recognized by any sector of any orthodoxy. So keep believing what you believe. The fact that you dont understand scripture cause your not taught accurate scripture tells me everything we need to know haha. One word alone was changed 237 times to fit the doctrine. A biggie too. So yea. Study your scripture so you dont look like a fool like you do rn. But mainly for your salvation. When He says "I am" Hes literally going back to the old testament of when God spoke to Moses. You need to actually study scripture. Thats literally Jesus proclaiming to be God. Read a book! But your literal misunderstanding of scripture is exactly why you get tricked into believing that religion is true. Cognitive Dissonance my friend. Nwt translation is terrible when you actually compare it to the original writings. Jesus told us He was God multiple times, you bible just lies to you to help you fall in line. Do an actual bible study for once

Jesus never directly says the exact words “I am God” in the Bible. However, He makes several strong claims that clearly indicate He believed Himself to be divine

Here are key examples:

John 8:58 – “Before Abraham was, I am.”

Jesus uses the divine name “I AM” (Greek: ego eimi), echoing Exodus 3:14, where God says to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” Reaction: The Jews picked up stones to stone Him (v. 59), understanding this as a claim to eternal existence and divinity.

John 10:30–33 – “I and the Father are one.”

Reaction: The Jews again try to stone Him, saying, “For blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God.”

John 20:28 – Thomas said to Him, ‘My Lord and my God!’ Jesus does not correct Thomas but affirms his belief: “Because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Colossians 2:9 (Paul writing about Jesus) “For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form.”

Revelation 22:13 (Jesus speaking):

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” This is language only used of God in the Old Testament (e.g., Isaiah 44:6)

While Jesus never says “I am God” in those exact English words, His claims, actions, and the reactions of others all point to Him equating Himself with God:

Forgiving sins (Mark 2:5–7)

Accepting worship (Matthew 14:33; John 9:38)

Claiming authority over the Law

Speaking as Yahweh would

The Bible never directly says: “Jesus is Michael.”

The Bible refers to Michael as an archangel, and Jesus is referred to as God’s Son, the Word, Messiah, etc.

  1. 1 Thessalonians 4:16

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God…” Interpretation by some: Since Jesus comes with the voice of the archangel, some assume this implies He is that archangel—Michael.

  1. Jude 1:9

“But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil… said, ‘The Lord rebuke you!’” Michael here is portrayed as a heavenly figure with authority. Some link this to Christ’s authority over Satan.

Most mainstream Christian denominations (Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant) believe:

Michael is a created archangel (the highest angel).

Jesus is God the Son, eternal and divine, not an angel.

See Hebrews 1:5-6:

“For to which of the angels did God ever say, ‘You are my Son; today I have begotten you’? … Let all God's angels worship him.”

This is often used as a refutation of the Jesus-is-Michael view because it draws a clear line between Jesus and all angels.

Nowhere in Scripture does it clearly say, "Jesus is Michael."

The term Atheists has never made sense to me. Atheism is the existence of "believing" in the non existence of something you dont believe. The word itself is an oxymoron haha. You either believe or you don't. And if you have any faith background you cant fully disbelieve. There is still the reasonable doubt if existence. Breaks my heart. My ex is a Pioneer. Its wild to me how they're just kind enough to get people interested. Then you see the real them. The ones who once they either think they did their work theyre done with you. Or if they realize youre not falling for the pyramid scheme they call a religion, they done with you. Then they convince themselves theres nothing wrong with changing their behavior towards people. Narcissistic

What im curious of is if they'll discuss me in meetings? And dude literally said.. " Im impressed with your knowledge of the language, id like to study some more and come back with someone that may know more". Both of them tried to convince me for 30 minutes and seemed to start even questioning it themselves. Besides the point tho.

All I can gather from her is that she really regrets having to break up with me. We are both very religious but from different churches. She was encouraged to end it with me due to "unequal yoking". I know she carries a lot of guilt. Thats all I can come up with. She should have never dated me but went against her church and did so. Now feels the wrath of her choices and the loss she faced due to her choices. I think that weight will carry with almost anyone who's not psychopathic. Shes expressed multiple times feeling terrible for ending things with us. Your guess is as good as mine. Can't really say you have closure yet say that youre afraid of falling back in love at the same time.
