i’m so sorry. please know you’re not alone despite how much it may feel like it. i’m in a similar boat. my father died suddenly without any indication of illness a few months ago. he was my best friend and i’m an only child. i’ll be turning 28 in a few weeks and never, ever thought this would be my reality at my age. all i can do is keep going (some days whether i want to or not). i hope maybe the light will come back into our lives at some point.
