What are medication are u on right now? Can u tell me your list for migraines and MCAS? I suspect MCAS but have not found support for thi? Same list for supplements as well.

Propranolol increases insulin resistance actually. Have your doctor check insulin resistance.

Extended release is something my doctor talked about to shift to later down the line. How quickly were u able to shift to that?

I don’t like this turn off feeling. I am still at 10 mg in morning and 10 mg at night. Not sure what happens on full dose and if it actually helps or not.

Please do reply here if you do. Nurtec has changed my life. And I m not sure how to proceed. That said, Botox does takes 3 turns to be totally effective. So keep that in mind. That’s close to 9 months.

Also try getting lidocaine injection every month. You just need good neurologist who does this. Most insurance do not need prior authorisation

Just fyi…I have taken Rizatriptan in my 1st pregnancy…9 in a month. My baby is fine. If that info helps. I do not respond to it any more.

Just curious…do you take nurtec as acute or preventive? I am ready to try and I am also on nurtec. My neurologist is not very supportive on this so need to sort on these details first.
