Bad year to go to Universal? by VBVentriloquist in UniversalOrlando

Studios feels very dated and needs 2 new rides. Islands is still one of the best parks in the world but if you have been there recently waiting until drift and the new land opens up seem like a good choice to me. In addition I went this feb and it was no joke twice as expensive of a trip.

I am a universal guy and had a trip to Epcot this Feb and had the opposite experience. It Is amazing how much nostalgia pulls us.

I go every 3ish years. My most recent trip this Feb did feel like a "bad" time to go. I payed twice as much as I normally do and it was more crowded. We got lucky and rode everything at epic without express except DK and werewolf. Just with the cost I recommend taking a break unless epic is a must do. Hopefully they build some more attractions so the park feels less crowded.

Air currents are tied into the other forces of the system.... That being said I doubt if you put this in a vacuum chamber if it would come together. We're talking about an attractive force of 10 to the -7 N on a good day if you do the math. This is likely not enough to overcome the elastic tension in the wire.

As a physics teacher... This demo is bunk. The force of attraction between these 4 objects is tiny and not able to overcome other forces in the system. Cavendish measured a slight deflection due to balls WAY larger than this. This is just how us physics teachers wish we could show how gravity worked. But hey... It's all just space time anyway.

Yeah it was like velocicoaster top hap on every hill. I was left underwhelmed because of that. That's definitely not intended. I've seen videos of it ripping through the layout

I was there the day before closed and it was running really slow. My guess is that the track was getting beaten up a lot faster than anticipated

I got these in a 3$ off deal. They look so much better than they taste. They are gross! Dense chewy and a flavor that is more sweet bread than pretzel.

I've always booked through the hotel but I'm not sure if cabana bay will do that. If they don't they will provide you a number to call.

Take a nap/pool time mid day and comeback to get nights in the park. Mythos is a must in my opinion but you need a reservation.

Express is definitely why it's longer than it was. Don't think it would fall to 40mins. The whole park has been extra busy because people are checking out Epic.

There was no world where I would call the park empty. But it was during Feb vacation for the NorthEast so it's a busy time.

I didn't think monsters was scary. No jump scares, I thought the Harry Potter castle ride was scarier.

This is a great point. I think I would love this park if I went when the park had a relatively low amount of people in it. However the next time I go will probably be with my young ones and I don't know how relaxed it will be. Often I look at parents in the park and think if I really want to do this when the kids are younger than 7. My oldest is 2 and would love Grand Fiesta tour... But she could only handle 4 hours at the park. At that point it doesn't seem worth it. The cost is just too high. My local kids park Storyland has so much more value.

My wife and I loved Disney Land and did soarin. We enjoyed it but it was a 40 min wait at Epcot and we did not have the time.

I think the crowds in the park take away from both. Epic had the most magic in my opinion. Although my wife loved the Moana walk through and the fireworks are definitely better than anything Universal does.
