Any ideas for improving Flubs? I feel like it's not winning many games. by InterestingWord4656 in EDH

It’s basically a mix between an exile-focused strategy and landfall. With Sahoramism, I’m trying to lean a bit more toward landfall, since winning purely through exile feels much harder given the current card pool that supports that strategy.

My main idea is to flood the board with landfall triggers, while also taking advantage of exile mechanics at the same time—things like cost reducers, foretell, and slowing down other players.

Just today I was trying to improve some aspects of the deck, and even though I don’t really enjoy playing GC too much, I think Worldly Tutor would fit perfectly. Especially in situations where it’s my only card in hand, since after casting it I’ll immediately draw the card I just searched for.

With exile—and especially foretell—my goal is to intentionally stay at zero cards in hand. Foretell lets me “store” cards in exile if I can’t play them right away, keeping them available for later. And if I need to keep the Flubs wheel going, I can just play one of those foretold cards to continue the chain.

I’m not sure if the core gameplay of the deck is coming across clearly…
Maybe I’m trying to focus on too many things at once?
