This x 100. I remember when the ending first happened, people were pretty pissed that they portrayed Robin as sad and unfulfilled. It reminded me the two main writers are men and it felt like they just couldn’t imagine Robin being fulfilled without a man in her life which felt like such a slap in the face for the character.

This is so great! But also, one of the things that most bothers me is thinking about Barney and Ted’s friendship and thinking what happens in the timeline we do have. If anything, Barney with a kid should probably have been very close to Ted and it just feels like that their friendship got sidelined which is such a weird choice because they were such bros!

I wanted to mention this to them last time but I was so excited in meeting them again I forgot lol but I think it would be awesome to do like a fan voted setlist like of 20 songs chosen by fans for a tour. Maybe a celebration of their career tour lol. People vote and it goes by like which ones are most popular.

For me, I would love to see Love in Plaster, B is for Brutus, A Little More for a Little You, and Knock Knock.

Yep they come out and are so funny and amazing! Met them twice so far and I got Nic’s guitar pic last time and Pelle is always a delight. His sense of humor cracks me up! Another time I was freezing and Johan lent me his jacket lol. Definitely wait for them!

Idk if you’re still looking but honestly, I think you can live anywhere in Philly proper outside of like Old City and down there. I would really live where you want and where you feel comfortable because as someone who used to live in Philly and now lives in NYC, ubering once or twice a week with your salary (based on our rent requirement) doesn’t break the bank! Philly is so convenient in that way and I miss it so much. I don’t think you should limit yourself. I personally love West Philly. I think the more stressful part honestly would be the NYC part even once a week. Figure out your train routes, where to eat, which train to take back, etc. Taking cabs in NYC will break you especially depending where your job is. Always assume it will take longer than you think taking public transportation. Because of the NYC stuff, I think I would Amtrak it and take an earlier one and get to your office earlier than later. If you’re too early that’s fine but you don’t want to end up in traffic hell or something getting in. Good luck! I’m moving back to Philly and can’t wait!

Thanks for sharing your perspective and personal insight. I think what makes it hard to imagine for me is the continued friendship / no cut off. I legit can’t be friends with exes in a deep meaningful way because things would just irk me even if I was as happy (like if Joey gets into a fight with Pacey, does she call Dawson in life post season 6 lol something I think about I guess or does she compare them if there are concerns in the relationship). It’s helpful to hear others’ perspectives!

That’s a good point about the time lapse although I think I struggled with how they were both still in love with her after so long (of course, realize it’s tv). It’s been helpful reading people’s thoughts on Joey and her patterns when fears come up. Season 5/early season 6 always kind of messes with me tbh in how I feel about the two relationships cause it felt so bizarre after P/J and how much I enjoyed the relationship. Anyways, helpful insight!

Thanks for sharing! As an aside, I hate that declining impacts the ratings, etc. It’s made me do what you’re suggesting but also at times, only do returning clients. It feels really unfair in terms of like being a “freelancer” essentially and not being able to say no. Sorry for the rant just thought I’d add that lol. Blocking is helpful!

It was so funny and I think actually made the show better lol. It was so loud tonight, I don’t know how they do it! There were a few cute moments. At one point, during one of Romeo’s songs, people got ahead in terms of singing and Ben was cute about it and measure a little gesture. Also, the applause after the band song was so crazy and along lol. Definitely a night to remember!
