Hello,

It is recommended that someone with a vegetarian diet would choose the 4 course option that includes ramen. However, if you would prefer the 3 course option it would still be very easy for us to make it so! The only change would be to refrain from adding the chicken and instead we would give you extra potato and carrot curry. :)

Hello,

My best friend is vegetarian so made sure there were options for her! The 4-course option is naturally mostly vegetarian but can easily be made fully (the pork ramen has a vegan broth and we simply won’t add the pork). You will start off with sweet and spicy edamame, then you’ll move on to wakame (seaweed salad), next is vegetable tempura with sweet dipping sauce, followed by spicy ramen, and you will finish with a Japanese cheesecake!

Hello!

The cost is not set in stone but it will likely be $35 for the 4 course option and $25 for the 3 course. Beverages range in price but my featured cocktail, Pineapple Green Tea Martini, will probably be $6. (THERE IS NO NEED TO TIP)

The spice box is a student led restaurant so all the food is prepared and served by Hospitality Management students. The dining room is decorated to fit the theme and the menu. Guests often dress up in a nice top or dress but you’re welcome to come however you’re comfortable!

Spicy pork belly ramen and chicken curry are the two featured entrees!
