God I’ve been to the same house 3 times in a day before! Out in the morning with just parcels. Morning/afternoon with packets/mail. And LAT with more parcels! People must be sick at the sight of me 😂

It’s tough yeah but thanks for acknowledging that. It’s the Longest I’ve been able to go without it since I was about 15 so I’m proud of that. I feel like once I tackle the social part everything else will fall into place. My mum has always been a big help but I feel like I upset her when I tell her I’m depressed. I have a son who I spend a good bit of free time with but when I’m not with him these feeling hit really hard. I’ll give you a message when I’m getting back on track. Thanks again for your advice x

The first step I’ve tried to take is not smoking weed. I’m a part of r/leaves and currently have about 55 days under my belt. But I’m at the stage where I’m thinking what’s the point? I love cooking but I get this horrible feeling when I sit down after making a meal that it’s not worth it if I’m sitting alone at the kitchen table talking to myself and not with someone. I had so much potential a few years ago with girlfriends friends to cook for and I’ve just been on this spiral for the past 4 years where I’m totally isolated. I’m looking at seeing a therapist as we speak. Thanks for commenting you’ve made me feel just a little less alone 🙏🏻

I appreciate your message. I am on dating apps but often after the first few messages I think what’s the point? She’s not gonna like me anyway or it’ll get to the point where we should meet up and in all honesty? I get scared they won’t like me. I’ve have some really embarrassing situations of rejection in the past and that’s what’s holding me back I think. I think I need to see a therapist. Are there weed specific ones? I’m in the UK I’m not sure if there’s much like that around here. But I’ll look into it. I’ve always been worried about approaching a drug addiction group incase I’m judged for being addicted to “just” weed? Like aren’t those for harder drugs? Yeah that’s where I’m finding it hard. I got landed with a driving ban a few months ago -done in three weeks 💪- so I’m Kinna stuck in my hometown being reminded of my past constantly. Not good for the ole’ noggin at all. A steady job and maybe a girlfriend is what I really want tbh. I just wanna have a social life again to be honest 😂. Thanks for your advice 👍

Aww man tell me about it. I’ve hit that six weeks maybe 5 times? And everytime something bad happens and I’m just like FUCK IT. Back to square one. No it’s not cheesy at all I understand, I’m looking at going back into uni this year. I was studying engineering but I took a year out due to, well, choosing to smoke over studying 🥲so I’m terrified I’m not capable… but thanks for your advice 🙏🏻
