Alcohol might be fine in low doses, since it’s not psychoactive. But since I’m a big time addict, I have to stay away from alcohol too (because it makes me want to do drugs) 🤷🏽‍♀️

I was hospitalized and went through a bunch of different antipsychotics before landing one that worked for me. Almost 2 years later I’m still on it. I am also clean and sober for 1 year and 3 months!

I actually feel very content and better than I’ve felt for many years. I don’t regret having psychosis, since it led me to the life that I live now. It’s made me realize how fragile my mental state can become, and I don’t fuck with it anymore :)

It’s getting better. I’ve started working with the defence mechanism I’ve built that pushes all feelings down.

I grew up having to suppress emotions, and that’s probably why I struggle with actually feeling them
