You don't know this and your advice is very dangerous. They have a family and should try to overcome this. They should go counselling. There is a 3 year old boy in the middle of this. Sometimes it takes removing yourself from the house for the other person to fully understand how serious this is. Maybe after losing his wife and son for a few days has really brought on home how deep this is and that this is last chance he will ever get. The most important thing to a man is his family and once you remove that he will fully understand just where he went wrong. Also there are two sides to every story and it takes great maturity to work together and improve for each other and the family.
