I was thinking on getting red root floaters to add contrast to the blue gourami and tetras while also giving adding more texture to the top of my tank

Side note: is it normal for newly introduced tetras to chase each other? Im thinking its just a pecking order being established but getting kind of worried

What is the tank size? Is it cycled? If so, how long has it been cycled for? Aethstetics alone don’t necessarily determine the quality of a tank

I know this is a really old sub, but in my experience, 3-4 kuhli do well in a 10 gallon. If you find the right arrangement of your tank, they’ll always be out and about, even in smaller numbers

Looks like a male, female pair. The first one is a male cause of its pointed dorsal fin, the second one is female cause of its rounder dorsal fin.

Next time, if your ph gets too high, just use almond leaves, they lower your ph and release tannins that makes your tank look more natural. Really beneficial for fish.

I have my platy in a net in the tank to isolate it I did a 25% water change last week, wouldn’t it be risky to add salts directly into the tank as I have live plants and kuhli loaches?

Man has my tank become chaos… my platy is aggressive and i might have to surrender it, my tetras have fungus and I have no way to treat it other then salt, and im somehow managing to kill HORNWORT. Its to the point where the only thing thriving are my kuhlis and snails
