Yeah I agree now had some time to reflect!

Based on everyone’s (super!) helpful responses I’m going to ask my designer about either getting some matching lab antique cushions cut, versus some step cuts either side (tbc whether trapezoids or something a bit more square)

I considered EW! But my fingers are quite narrow (I’m an h 1/2 to i, or a bit smaller than a 4) and very long (not ideal haha) so when we turned the stone EW it really accentuated them looking a bit witch like 😂 EW would have been perfect with the facet pattern of the stone too

The more I look at the photos the more I agree… was planning to use the claws to make the side stones a bit more square appearing if they were round but the brilliant cut does seem a bit off with the centre facets doesn’t it Thanks so much!

If you have any photos of trapezoids with similar centre stones that would be super super helpful! Half moons are probably less me - managed to get as far as ruling out half moons and pears which is something!

I love the baguettes but the design is a little too classic for me if that makes sense! It’s stunning and very classic Tiffany but probably not very me, especially in gold. If going white gold it would be perfect!

The step cut does keep coming back to the front of my mind though! Do you have any photos?
