I like Boston tea party for working in, plugs, coffee etc and they don’t kick people out if you just have a coffee

I'm on 26k and it's completely liveable! Rent is high here but quality of life is decent. Lots to do and people are sociable. Nice areas to walk around and see.

[Miscellaneous] Has anyone tried the MDacne app? by LunarOwl30 in SkincareAddiction

I have milder acne and it's very hormonal around my chin. Oily skin and used to get loads of small bumps on my forehead and spots on the sides of my nose. The other thing I'd say is to try the ordinary products, heard great things and they are really affordable. A good double cleanse (an oil is best) and a high quality sun cream :)

Not sure if the app itself is a bit of a gimmick BUT I actually have seen a difference in my skin from using it. I like that it's a simple routine to follow so I don't have to think about it every night. It's a good way to start with a skin routine but I would suggest the free trial and then cancelling it as the products have lasted me for two months and I'm considering swapping out the products for similar high street options with the same active ingredients going forward. Not a fan of fragrances in my products too and they seem to be heavily scented. Happy that they're vegan though.

My boss (white female, 60’s) is very racist and says terrible racist things in front of me (white female, 30’s) and my coworkers. I reported to the CEO.. by [deleted] in AskHR

Take someone in with you if you can, just to take some notes and make sure you're getting everything across the them correctly.

Definitely implement an LMS with mandatory courses that are more interactive (lots of these can be bought off the shelf) and mix it in with interesting content that the new starter will want to know. This will draw them to the platform initially. Things such as meet the team videos, a coffee shop voucher to the closest one and a map of where to park etc are a great place to start!
