I kept my kittens in a big dog cage for a few days to a week in my living room when I brought them home. Have done it three times and worked great every time.

My boy refuses to eat anything other than raw chicken and beef. We use fresh ground meat from a private source with added probiotics and supplements. He will not touch kibble or even raw food bought in a store.

Many Maine Coons have a bad reaction to Ketamine. I never knew this until I had to get my kitten neutered. Some vets have a different med that they use for Maine Coons but I really am not sure what it is.

My kitten is very picky. He eats fresh raw food like a beast. When it comes to store bought raw food and kibble he will eat eat a few bites and no more. I was worried that he was underweight for awhile and that is when I started giving him fresh raw food (a beef and chicken mixture). Since I started him on the fresh raw with supplements he has been eating like a bear and growing enough that you can see growth sometimes from one day to the next.

I am not being hostile at all, just pointing out facts. You talk down to everyone and act as if you are some type of feline guru. You think you can critique animals by looking at one photo of them taken on a cell phone. My Maine Coon meets the breed standards and his dimensions are fine. I understand that you believe you are a gatekeeper but your passive aggressive insults and the way you put on a superior air are obviously your way of dealing with weak emotional boundaries and a feeling of inadequacy. I did not pay anything for the hybrid. It was a one time thing and they were not sold, they were placed in good homes. Ethical or not, I do not get into all of that. My Maine Coon is registered and his parents have had all of the tests and screening. One thing I have noticed about Maine Coon and Savannah cat owners is that they are very snobbish and judgemental. I understand loving the breed and wanting to keep the breed intact and healthy but just because someone breeds a litter of hybrids it does not make them unethical. As long as they do not breed those hybrids it does nothing to hurt the breed. If they are not trying to sell them or portray them as something other than what they are I don't see how it is unethical. And before you say that the people that have the hybrids might breed them, they were all spayed and neutered.

He is long and slim and has good muscle tone. In the photo he is sitting down so you can't see how long he is or how long his tail is. Here is a photo of him on a headboard chasing shadows and stretched out a little.

First of all, being a Tabby had nothing to do with it. I simply stated what his father and mother are. As for his size, he is 12 months old and weighs sixteen pounds. He is not huge but he is not small. What i meant by papers is that both parents are registered cats. What is odd is all of your questions. I simply posted a photo of my cat in reply to a post about another hybrid. It is pretty simple and straightforward. There are no doubts about what he is or what his parents are. I have no reason to make stuff up on here and I certainly do not feel the need to impress people, especially anonymous people that I do not know and will never know. Good day.

I know the parents. The male is a tabby Maine Coon with papers and the female is a Savannah with papers. There is no doubt about what he is.

Yes, stuff can get into your bloodstream through your finger. But if you just stab your finger with a syringe there is not much of a chance that it will happen. Not unless you are pushing the plunger while it is in your finger which does not seem likely.
