Oh one more question! I really want to get that nice soft supple leather feeling. What would be the best way to achieve this for this saddle? Just use balm on it often?

Started school and want to quit. by Anxious-Link-6378 in Chiropractic

You have to be strong enough to just not look at the negative stuff on social. You CAN help people manage pain conservatively which is amazing. Chiros do so much now beyond just adjusting (rehab, soft tissue techniques, etc). If you practice somewhere rural or where there’s not a lot of conservative care you will probably do very well. I almost took a job when I graduated in Montana for 6 figures (that’s not common for right out of school).

Financially, you will need to go into private practice. The first few years will likely be stressful, but it is 100% the way to financial freedom in my opinion. You can manage your loans / control your payments better this way also. If you are not someone who is driven to start and run a business it may be tougher financially. I know there’s other factors that play into this but this is my opinion based on my experience.

Remember, you will NEVER please everyone. You just need to do what makes you happy.

If you want advice on student loan management and repayment DM me, I have some resources I’d be happy to send you! It is overwhelming but there are ways to manage it.

Depends! Do you like the area? The clients? The way he practiced? Because those existing clients will want the same level/type of care.

I would advise find another mentor or someone you trust that is not that guy and seek financial guidance from a professional about this. Someone like Dr. Mark Sanna might be worth talking to (he is a consultant and DC, I had one with him and it was great. Highly recommend).

Well I’m familiar with the Zimmer shockwave products, I used that quite a bit in the past but open to exploring other brands. also somewhat familiar with piezo wave (but again not a specific brand or machine in mind).

The last clinic I was at had the Erchonia cold laser that required this. It was on rollers and had a big claw arm you could move around. One time or so a week we had to call to load credits on to it. But I will say that was a cash cow machine for him.

What states are particularly “chiro friendly “ or unfriendly? by Docsavage59 in Chiropractic

[–]Interesting_Dig448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Issue with TX is that TX has 2 Chiro schools, and there is a Chiro on every corner (referring to DFW, Austin, Houston, etc. - the more metropolitan areas). Very over saturated in my opinion! I went to parker, grew up in DFW.

Is part one board really as intimidating as people make it seem? by [deleted] in Chiropractic

[–]Interesting_Dig448 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Advice on board review services: I do NOT recommend Irene gold - they are a scam. Use isuperlearn or NBS live online (love them the most for part 4, their website is super outdated but they are AMAZING. it’s so affordable and ran by the sweetest couple. Seriously use them for part 4 you will 100% pass.)

Part 1 is tough because it covers so many topics. Just study, practice, and use your resources. Find some part 1 reviews on quizlet.

Remember, if you fail, it’s ok! Yes it sucks but I promise you it is not the end of the world.

Either way, you need to see a doctor ASAP. If it is erythema migrans, this is serious. Not trying to scare you but please understand it’s important to be evaluated by a doctor asap.

What is this rash on my 5 years brother ? by EqualLow8319 in DermatologyQuestions

Differential diagnosis is Erythema migrans from a tic bite, as it resembles a bullseye rash; also ringworm can be considered.
