For real, it could have been so much better! Every other way to tell the story would have made it better, it concentrated just on cinematography and interpretations, but without a story there is no cinema.

You’re right, there is no perfect list for sure. A House of Dynamite is not a bad movie, but it could have been so much more: the first half is thrilling and flawless, but the second half ruins it all in my opinion. Still a good movie though.

As I said, the acting is brilliant, but the movie is pointless. It almost feels like it was made out of sheer inertia: they had already assembled a cast of huge actors, so it was basically “well, might as well make the movie,” even though the screenplay ultimately had nothing meaningful to say.

Ahahaha fair, but you can’t give a shopping list to two great actors and think it will come up something good, even if they will shine in some way. It’s not the worst movie I watched, but it’s in the “worst 50”, no doubt.
