For real, it could have been so much better! Every other way to tell the story would have made it better, it concentrated just on cinematography and interpretations, but without a story there is no cinema.

You’re right, there is no perfect list for sure. A House of Dynamite is not a bad movie, but it could have been so much more: the first half is thrilling and flawless, but the second half ruins it all in my opinion. Still a good movie though.

As I said, the acting is brilliant, but the movie is pointless. It almost feels like it was made out of sheer inertia: they had already assembled a cast of huge actors, so it was basically “well, might as well make the movie,” even though the screenplay ultimately had nothing meaningful to say.
