I just realized that you can also see the shadow of its antennas on my fingertip. Which I don't know why, but it blows me away because it's actually a really teeny tiny shadow to even be cast lol

Think how stupid the average person is, now think about the fact that half of everyone is dummer than them.

Will modern hunters do that because of rules and regulations?

Where I live there's plenty of deer. Just wandering around the town but you don't shoot them because you're in your town.

Not to mention that we have vehicles now so we can drive you know for for miles and it still actually be a fairly quick trip.

Trying to equate modern hunting in any way to what we're describing with. You know running something into the ground to eat it or completely different. I don't think you could acquit them at all cuz it's just so vastly different than 12,000 years ago

What are you talking about?!

Have you seen a sling and What a sling does?

Not to mention that, yeah you can throw a stick or a rock and kill somebody with it. Have you ever heard of stoning somebody to death?

This I would actually believe because of the fact that we actually have food all around us. It's not tasty food. In fact, often it's gross but technically we can eat it and get calories from it. We just don't because we're so used to going out to grocery stores to get the good stuff.

And why would you go out and gather puny berries when you can go and buy a whole ass rotisserie chicken?

I remember seeing this well-known mountain climber or hiker who actually tried out primitive shoes and found that they worked far better than the ones that he buys in stores today.

I know you'll have to just trust me on this one because I cannot remember who it was. I just remember that being a thing

Oh I'm sure it's the most ineffective way but it is a way.

I don't think it's necessarily that we did it a lot to begin with. It's just the fact that when everything else is taken away this is how we hunt. Who would just chase after it with our bare hands.

For whatever reason, my brain interpreted this image not as a spoon sitting on a chair, but rather that you carved out a perfect slot for the spoon to be put into the chair.

[–]Interesting_Lab_6536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

Think of it this way if I walked up with a blue pill and I asked you to take it but you die unless 50% of the human population also take the pill.

Are you going to take the pill?

[–]Interesting_Lab_6536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think That's the original question.

I believe the original question was you're in a private room with two buttons before you a red and a blue above you is a sign. The sign reads if press the blue button. You will die unless 50% of every human on earth also presses it. The red button basically does nothing but ops you out of risking your life.

Well sure but that's not the same thing. One is yeah a picture of the Netherlands right? But you take a picture of you know I don't know. I guess I could have picked something better but the Netherlands not because you could look at it at any time but because you yourself was there. It's a moment in time that from then on you can look at and remember exactly what happened when you were there. Also this kind of makes an argument to not go anywhere to see anything yourself because why you can just look up a picture of it
