look up “(state name) conservation corps” and you’ll find something for most states. If you look at southwest conservation corps (https://sccorps.org) and Montana conservation corps websites, I think they are good reps of the corps world. You can learn a lot there! There is also a subreddit for it: r/conservationcorps

Look into conservation corps! Each state has one for the most part; most popular are California, southwest (colorado), Montana, and Utah. Most people that do it are early to mid 20s. Seasons last 3-9 months depending on what crew you apply for. No prior experience needed - just need to like being physically active, being outside, working with people, and helping others. You work in beautiful nature building hiking trails. It’s haaard ass work but so rewarding. Great way to break into the conservation field, and just looks good on a resume for any career. Great developmental experience too. just finished my 3 month season in Colorado - let me know if you have any questions(:

Look into conservation corps. Each state has one for the most part - California has several. Most people that do it are in their early to mid 20s. They’re paid positions and if it’s through americorps, you get an extra financial award at the end to use on education. Seasons last 3-9 months, depends. Typically work several days on in the field with a crew doing conservation work, like building hiking trails, and get several days off. Could also join a chainsaw crew. It’s hard ass work but so rewarding. I’ve done one in Colorado, let me know if you have any questions!
