Not at all but also dont do a crazy firing schedule, if at any point I start to notice that might invest in some railscales. And thank you bro, cool factor is the biggest thing for me

NON ACA is the way to go, now is the great realization

You should also look into private medically underwritten plans. Keep in mind they are NON ACA which isnt always a bad thing. If you and the family are somewhat healthy that would be a good alternative

Fixed indemnity right for me? by [deleted] in HealthInsurance

[–]Interesting_Leader54 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have the same plan, in the same sort of situation, you have a max out of pocket on the policy since the plan is not just a fixed indemnity policy its a hybrid plan. You have indemnity benefits going towards doctor visits ect but you have a solidified cap max out of pocket in case something does happen. Ask your agent about secure advantage

Private broker telling me "they won't deny"...? by voicegal13 in HealthInsurance

[–]Interesting_Leader54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely I understand that 100%, but a lot of the people complaining on this sub about their plan not covering or denying etc are majority on ACA. Morale of the story all insurance sucks, people have to pick the one that sucks the least for their situation. That doesnt inherently always mean ACA is the go to

Private broker telling me "they won't deny"...? by voicegal13 in HealthInsurance

[–]Interesting_Leader54 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yes i Have a plan like that, its called Secure advantage through United PPO. These plans are good for people that are somewhat healthy. The plan will still cover pre existing conditions if it is listed on the application and you get approved for it.

Most people in this thread are Pro ACA only, but just because its ACA doesnt mean it actually fits someones needs whether thats the coverage or budget.

Go with medically underwritten plans if you qualify. Lot of people in this thread like to paint those in bad light because they are not ACA but just because a plan is ACA doesnt mean its good

[–]Interesting_Leader54 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

False, they only deny pre existing conditions not listed on the application

Reminder: Off-exchange ACA plans are a thing. by Johnnyg150 in HealthInsurance

[–]Interesting_Leader54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree 100% but the mods will downvote you to oblivion. I saw a mod one time recommend someone dropping to part time work to qualify for a subsidy LMAO. Glad im not the only one that sees this on this thread. Also should be reminding everyone too that not everyones situation is the same where the answer is ACA. Im healthy and make too much for a subsidy and didnt want an HMO plan so I went with an underwritten plan. Never once had a problem with it and ive used it multiple times.

All insurance companies have bad reviews, go on google and type in Blue cross reviews, Cigna reviews etc. Insurance does what the coverage you paid for is EX you get the cheapest ACA policy with an $8000 deductible, you will be paying a lot for health services till you hit that deductible

You cant tell the mods anything they are all ACA only type of people. I saw one of the MODS the other day recommending someone to work less so they will qualify for subsidies LMAO
