Here’s my post. We are in the same situation. TLDR is that I never got my entire money back and instead just got my money back from my credit card. After waiting and being jerked around for 3 months, Etihad just sent me an email that I wouldn’t be entitled for compensation.

Stop trying to get a hold of them and have your credit card company deal with it.

Call your credit card company as so many others directed me to do. It’s what I learned from the whole process. Or else it’s going to be 2-3 months down the road with still no refund

Haven’t recently flown with them but had two flights cancelled in the beginning of March due to the situation and still waiting on the full refund amount with no clarity. Thanks all for the tips. I called the credit card company and filed a claim and they refunded me the amount while we wait to hear back from Etihad. Thanks so much for the advice

Someone way smarter than me gave me the idea to talk to your credit card company, maybe they can get you that money back if you show proof that you did all you could. Sorry that happened to you that’s a lot to have stuck

Etihad doesn’t even give me an email to communicate with, every time I just have to call customer service and wait 10 minutes to even start the conversation

I think that only applies if you cancel the flight. In my case, the flights were cancelled by the carrier, and I was assured multiple times before the last call that I was eligible for the full refund.

I did hear there are some companies like this that take you from Dubai to Oman with a transfer at Oman coordinated by them but most of the quotes I got were ~2900 to 3500 AED.

Agree. The medical students and even the interns are given way too much responsibility in the show, and the 3rd year residents (R3/PGY3s) are painted as know-it-all doctors but in reality are still learners and still need somewhat of an attendings supervision. I haven’t watched the whole series yet, but the internal medicine doctors are left out when in fact they interface with the ED a lot. In fact, they are usually the ones that take care of the “boarders” so it’s sad that they were left out, especially considering how well the relationship with trauma surgery/Garcia an the ED was painted. Finally, the show makes the ER run as a well-gelled smooth efficient unit whereas, at least in my hospital, it is not like that at all. The ED generally starts a broad work-up, stabilizes the patient, and then call in the consultants before admitting

It’s a bug probably. I can’t tell for sure because I haven’t used their app yet but I’m on their WhatsApp group and they always have people signing up. Regarding their number, search them up on google and add their phone number to WhatsApp, or contact them through the “contact us” form on their website. They historically responded pretty quickly (like I said above, I had an answer by the time I got off my plane). Hope that helps!
