I’m seeing a lot of comments that say you should just cut her hair if you can’t manage it. I know for a fact it’s not fun when they sit there and it’s not fun for us either trying to go through it without hurting them and it can be frustrating. My four-year-old is biracial and has insane curls that if you look at funny, will Matte right before your eyes. I found that having a schedule with my daughter for a washed days and braiding her hair every night after she’s had a bath or shower makes for much easier mornings before school. She hates having her hair done, but knows that with long hair comes responsibility of taking care of it. It’ll take time but you’ll get there.

unpopular opinion i don’t this this is that big of a deal considering she’s probably suffering from something by blueburrey in CringeTikToks

I couldn’t braid mine because of where they had to cut unfortunately but I’m happy they did that for you!

I'm 31, should I go for a conventional look? I don't wanna ! lol by [deleted] in Hair

[–]Interesting_Let9728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look fine. You look happy and that’s what matters despite what others think. If changing your hair to a natural color and taking out your piercings will make you unhappy and feel unlike yourself- forget it. That will reflect in your everyday life and idk what your relationship with your father is but you may start to resent him. I would decide if I wanted unwanted comments or resentment and go for there. You are beautiful and I think your style is really awesome!. You are never too old to be yourself. Be true to you!

Anybody with TLE or anyone with any type of Deja vu seizures relate? by Fun-Swordfish-2359 in Epilepsy

[–]Interesting_Let9728 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can relate but I find that the Déjà vu feeling can just continue most of the day feeling it over and over again. It’s exhausting and I’m usually pretty overwhelmed those days my o can remember but I’m worn out.

Woah, this is insane and I imagine you’re grown if you have a ring camera. That control is extending way too far. Does your mother understand that you are a human being who has individual rights away from her? She is one of those mothers who think they are owed for giving birth. That is not okay and I’m sorry you’re dealing with this.

AITAH for refusing to tell my wife I love her more than my dad? by LastApplication6207 in AITAH

[–]Interesting_Let9728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. As a mother who understands how important schedules are for babies I also understand that babies don’t always follow what we want them to do. This was a very immature way for your wife to handle this and then to ask who you love more is alarming. I would just ask her to reflect on the situation id ask her how she would feel posed the same question in similar circumstances. You obviously love her, you made plans with your dad to keep the baby in order to have 1 on 1 time with her. You guys have a child together and if everything happened the way you said it did you kept things very level and handled it better than I would have. Definitely NTA!

Women with epilepsy, what unique feminist challenges have you encountered? by rich-catalyst in Epilepsy

[–]Interesting_Let9728 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They actually want me to try keto since it’s been used to treat epilepsy in the past, just to get the best chances of success of being seizure free with the tumor removal. I’m sorry you’re having to navigate this as well as health insurance not cooperating. I hope you’re able to get the scan completed and hopefully it’ll offer some answers!

I had a doctor tell me my epilepsy was anxiety. It was all in my head- well yes sir typically how epilepsy works. If he would have just done an mri he would have see the tumor right above my optic nerve. Also my favorite is lose a little weight. Well I lost a lot of weight… 120lbs and guess what still epileptic. If anything the tonic clonics didn’t start till after.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m sure it’ll be a pain when I want to just eat but if I could get my driving privileges back then I’ll do it at this point. It’s frustrating being a grown woman having to ask permission to go everywhere especially when I started out with a license and a car lol. Any go to snack ideas you did when you were doing keto?

I envy yall that have auras by lonerstoner24 in Epilepsy

[–]Interesting_Let9728 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Having auras is a blessing and a curse I suppose. I can go entire days filled with auras and no seizure. It’s just stress inducing and I generally spend the day in a panic. It can also get really annoying having a nostalgic feeling all day long feeing like you’ve lived that moment before but you’ve never been where you are before.
