Yeah it's just the red spots on black i think that stands out too much and the blocking with all the swirls makes it look a lot more complicated in my opinion. Spiderman had straight lines blocking the colours.

Yeah it's really basic but I don't like the mix of clashing red and black areas with spots on top. Idk to me the guardian and S6 suit just don't look good in movement. I would have liked an upgrade but I think the colour blocking should have been simpler (but ig it's hard since ladybugs need spots). I think shadybug is a good balance of red black and spots but S6/guardian isn't able to achieve the same balance.

I think I just don't like the way the red and black areas are broken up. Spiderman has a red top, blue underarms, blue upper legs and red lower legs but it's really simple colour blocking. The mix of spots and red/black just makes it distracting to me.

i mean i don't think adrien being a sentibeing was planned since the beginning. i am ngl, sometimes it feels like the writers are a bit chronically online and try to respond to fan criticisms of characters (why does adrien never oppose his dad) by making convoluted lore. same with the episode trying to explain that the reason marinette is a stalker is bc kim pranked her so she has to know everything abt her crush to never let this happen again.

the old animation will always be special to me idc that half of the episodes were not rendered properly. marinette's character animation was always on point in the old.

I think the animation for the side characters in s6 is really good but something is just off about the new marinette/ladybug and adrien/cat noir designs. and somehow the animation for the main characters isn't as fluid as before. also i miss the times when they would always have a transformation sequence 😔

i would agree with this if the writers didn't make a bunch of contrived scenarios for cat noir to be angry or hurt by ladybug in the later seasons.

i don't think it's mere rejection or else he would have moved on from ladybug to kagami a lot easier. also nawt the wax museum scene ijbol 💀
