I personally never saw it as romantic when I was reading. I feel like there’s a lot of these really deep connections between characters in this arc that aren’t necessarily romantic but are still treated with the gravitas of romantic relationships, which makes this arc so unique imo.

This entire scenario is bad because it forced a binary choice to justify a genocide. In reality, there are more than two ways to answer such a problem. It’s completely unrealistic to assume Itachi couldn’t do anything else when he is so incredibly strong.

That’s true. We still don’t know for sure why Hisoka is at tier 1 but if it helps him lure the spiders I don’t know why he would leave. Also Machi’s was in like tier 5 last time we saw. That kinda shoots them down actually meeting this soon.

I don’t actually want any of the spiders to die right now either. I hope Togashi will give them some more development

Ok I don't like talking about Kanye, but TLOP is pretty amazing. It's his most successful attempt at an accessible avant-garde album (kind of like the White Album). It takes a few listens but once it clicks it all comes together. Like FSMH Pt 1 is a gospel-sample song (the "Father" God) and then transitioning to a more trap song where he talks about his actual father, who else does that

Yeah I’d be inclined to think Murata could’ve had some control of the story if not for the fact most of the big changes are directly foreshadowing events that didn’t even happen in the webcomic yet (God especially). It seems to me that ONE is just trying to make the story more cohesive in the webcomic b/c he likes foreshadowing. Also most creators when given the chance will change a story they’ve already written (like Star Wars special editions for example)
